In the second stomach the grass is made into small balls called cud. When the cow has enough cud she spews it back up to her mouth and chews it for 1 minute.

This stomach looks like a book with 100 pages. The chewed cud is squashed between the pages.

The squashed cud gets changed into a liquid. Some of the liquid goes into the cows udder where it is made into milk. The rest comes out when the cow goes toilet.
