Introduction (05 min) -Simulation: Co-Facis perform a short play without telling the

delegates that they are simulating (misunderstanding + conflict)

Sharing Expectations

(20 min) -Delegates answer the following questions:

What is co-facilitation? Why co-facilitation?

Let’s get married!

(40 min)

-Delegates are divided into groups of 3: husband, wife and child

-The parents have the responsibility to take the right decision for

their child (they can choose between a baby or a teenager)

If it’s a teenager: s/he failed in exams and still want to buy a car

If it’s a baby: both parents have important commitments tonight

but they can’t find a baby-sitter

Delegates can imagine any other situation for their little family

Sharing & Feedback

(20 min)

-Delegates share their thoughts about parenthood

-Delegates give feedback on each other’s simulation

-Delegates make the link between the simulation and co-facilitation.

Icebreaker (05 min)

Each Faci invite the couple to join a game they have prepared, and

the play of the conflict between the co-facis continue. Each family

have to choose only one faci’s game.

Outputs (30 min)

-Facis summarize everything

-On a flipchart are already written some theoretical information

about co-facilitation + tips and tricks

-Delegates comment the conflict they witnessed between their co-

facilitators and understand how to manage such situations.
