3.2 Limit value class
The following possible solutions exist for EMC-compliant installation, depending on thesystem configuration. Perform EMC compliant installation in accordance with EN 55011.
The unit complies with the cable conduction and radiation requirements of limit valueclass A. Cable conduction requirements for limit class B are also met. When additionalmeasures are implemented, value limit class B can also be maintained for radiated in-terference.

The option-capable MOVITRAC® B units can be equipped with the PROFIBUS interfacetype DFP21B. Option DFP21B is a 12-MBaud fieldbus interface for the PROFIBUS-DPserial bus system. The principal task of PROFIBUS-DP is to transmit data in rapid cyclesbetween central automation units (PROFIBUS master) and decentralized peripheralunits (such as drive inverters).

6 ptional communication / operationhat does MOVITRAC® B offer?
Front options
• Communication option FSC11B
– 1 x RS-485 interface with RJ10 connector and parallel to terminals, can be addressed, multi-point operation
– 1 x SBus interface with terminal
The FSC11B communication option is required for everyMOVITRAC B unit if you areplanning to establish a communication connection with other devices or othercomponents.
– Operator interface (RS-485) for MotionStudio (PC) or additional converter for RS-232 <-> RS-485 or USB <-> RS-485 required.
– Linking several MOVITRAC B units via RS-485 interface / terminal for affordable operating or diagnostic buses.
– Systembus communication via SBus to additional MOVITRAC B or MOVIDRIVE units.
– Connection of Ufx fieldbus gateways via SBus to MOVITRAC B units. EveryMOVITRAC® B unit connected to the gateway requires an FSC11B communication option.
• FIO11B analog option
– 1 x analog output 0 ... 10 V
– 1 x analog input +/- 10 V
– 1 x RS-485 (operator interface)
This analog option will be necessary if you need an analog output (such as setpointdisplay) or another analog input.
The SBus is not available when using option FIO11B. Use the RS-485 interface toconnect an operation PC -> MotionStudio.
Option slot
The MOVITRAC B units offer an optional slot as of size 0S.
This slot is used to connect the following MOVIDRIVE® B option modules (by qualifiedSEW personnel only):
Fieldbus interfaces
• PROFIBUS DFP / DeviceNet DFD (in preparation) / Ethernet DFE (in preparation)
Motion control
• MOVI-PLC®
You can use the original MOVIDRIVE option modules for MOVITRAC B with the help ofa mechanical installation kit and an additional supply voltage option.
The MOVITRAC basic unit requires an additional FSC11B communication option to con-nect these option modules.
