PRAYER FOR PROTECTION
AGAINST STORMS
God our Father,
You set the earth on its foundation.
Keep us safe from the danger of
Hurricanes and storms
And let us always feel the presence of Your love.
May we be secure in Your protection
And serve You with grateful hearts.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Your Son,
Who lives and reigns with You and
the Holy Spirit,
One God forever and ever.
Amen.
Oh Mary, conceived without sin,
Pray for us who have recourse to You. Do you LIKE music?
Do you LIKE to sing??
Are you in third grade or above???
Then join our CHOIR!
We sing at Sunday Masses, Thanksgiving Day ,
Christmas Eve, First Reconciliation, Easter Sunday
and First Communion.
We have a lot of fun and make beautiful sounds that
praise GOD and lift the hearts of
GOD’s people. (This also counts as service hours)
Come join us on Wednesdays, from
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the main
Church.
No previous experience necessary.

PPI PRESENTATION
History and Events that
Lead Up to Vatican II
Presented by Msgr. Navarro
Tuesday, September 12
7:29 p.m. AE-102-103
Beginning with what Vatican I would have wanted to
accomplish and the development of events and more
profound studies of Sacred Scripture, Liturgy, History
a need becomes more evident that the Church, led
by the Holy Spirit, needs to embrace and promote
authentic (aggionarmento) renewal.

PASTOR’S REFLECTION
Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
September 10, 2017
Dear Friends,
Tough love sets boundaries that can separate someone
from the community until the person chooses to change.
It’s their choice. In dealing with others; always speak
the truth in love. That is how God treats us even when
we turn away from Him. Speak from the desire that the
other will change, not to destroy them. This requires
inner subsidiarity to God’s spirit within us. It also
requires being caring rather than judgmental...again,
like God treats us. Speak in the way that you would want
someone to speak to you. Love your neighbor as yourself.
Seek not to do evil to your neighbor and thus remain in
the ways of the Lord.
Take time to refresh the life of the Spirit that has
been given you. Then witness your faith like disciples and
believers throughout the ages. Be assured of my
prayers for you and for your dear ones. May the good
Lord bless you with wisdom and peace. Please pray for
me.
In Christ,
Msgr. Pablo A. Navarro
Pope Francis @pontifex Jesus is present in so many of our
brothers and sisters who suffer today
like He did.

NOTICIAS DEL APOSTOLADO HISPANO
REFLEXIÓN DEL PÁRROCO
DOMINGO VIGESIMO TERCERO EN EL
TIEMPO ORDINARIO
10 DE SEPTIEMBRE DEL 2017
Queridos Amigos,
Decir la verdad, por amor, impone limites que pueden
separar a alguien de la comunidad hasta que la persona
decida cambiar. Cuando lidiamos con los que nos rodean;
Palabra y a Su plan divino. Por favor oren por mi.
Asegúrense que los tengo a ustedes y a sus seres queridos
en mis oraciones diarias. Que Dios los bendiga!
En Cristo,
Mons. Pablo A. Navarro
