2. Usefulness and originality of that content

3. User-experience in terms of interactive content & ads

4. Original, experience-enhancing images

Research suggests that the filter favours pages with 1500+ words, original images and embedded video

Content should not be copied – original and useful

Put best content ‘above the fold’ with no ads

On average, 71.33% of searches resulted in a page one Google organic click.

Page two and three get only 5.59% of the clicks.

On the first page alone, the first 5 results account for 67.60% of all the clicks and the results from 6 to 10 account for only 3.73%

However the results are more or less in line with previous studies.

A big miss was the difference between big brands, smaller sites and local search clicks.
