Member of the management team, leading ASEC CEMENT Group’s Strategic planning in more than 4 countries (Egypt, Sudan, Syria and Algeria) as operator for more than 5 plants.

Where I was responsible for:

Prepare consolidated and standalone 5 years business plan of Corporate Strategic Plan & updated on a quarterly basis through the engagement of business lines, and highlighted any deviation from the plan.

Review economic justifications for network expansion requirements or for new business investments specifically analyses commercial drivers as well as ROI and NPV

Prepare Monthly, quarterly and year end Performance pack and Segment profitability. Provide support and guidance to the operations in improving the business planning and

performance management processes. Ensure Commercial Projects are properly coordinated and follow project management best practice

Maintain and update the annual corporate KPIs & milestones.

Compile and develop presentation materials to share corporate strategic plans & annual plans with the CEO and top management.

Coordinate with head of departments to provide all requirements to maintain annual planning cycle, follow-up execution and deliverables.

Coordinate with departments to identify the budget needs and the optimum CAPEX & OPEX.

Develop the annual business plan scorecards together with the senior manager.

Quarterly update the status of Departmental & Enterprise Level Risk Register action.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors to have audit review of all submission and updates from departments.

Review all the business models with the external auditors on a quarterly basis

activities undertaken.  Ensure compliance of major capital project procedures by Departments.  Participate in the preparation/compilation of Annual Budgets within the agreed deadlines. Participate in the joint venture audit with HQ team to review and assure that the joint account for

our joint venture is accuracy and correct.

Prepare cash flow forecast Daily/Weekly/Monthly.

Ensure the Company's Overdues/ Receivables from Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) is within an acceptable & reasonable amount/ limit. & report the status of Domestic Receivables to the Company’s.

Provide accounting support for upstream and downstream operation to meet operation requirement for budget and JIB monitoring and cash call management.

Monitor accruals/reversals and other general ledger activity and prepayments.

Prepare and advise on journal entries and ensure that general ledger activity is reflected accurately and properly.
