ST. MICHAEL'S GUARD St. Michael's Guard is an ecclesial movement of men throughout the Diocese of Harrisburg devoted to serving our Lord as altar servers at Mass. St. Michael's Guard is open to Catholic men 18 years and older with a desire to serve our Lord in the liturgy. No prior experience as an altar server is required. 2019 DIOCESAN ANNUAL CAMPAIGN-FAITH FORWARD Response envelopes were mailed to all parishioners for the Diocesan Annual Campaign. Additional envelopes are available in the Narthex and the parish office. They can be returned to the parish office either by mail or placed in the collection basket. Our parish assessment/goal is $ 69,600. We ask that you give prayerful consideration to what you will give. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

CRAB CAKE SALE The Knights of Columbus will be taking orders for Capt'n Chucky's award winning crab cakes on Saturday March 23 and Sunday morning March 24. Orders can be picked up after Masses on Saturday April 6 and Sunday morning April 7. The crab cakes are sold in boxes of 4, 6 and 12, and the price remains unchanged at $5 per piece. DIOCESAN MEN’S CONFERENCE Men of the Diocese of Harrisburg and beyond…the Diocesan Men’s Conference is Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Bishop McDevitt High School. The theme is Men Called to be Saints. The Keynote Speaker is Dr. John Bergsma, noted Catholic author, speaker, Bible expert, and theology professor at Franciscan University of Steubenville. The title of his keynote address is The Top 3 Reasons I Became Cath-olic and Always Will Be: Perspectives from a Former Protestant Pastor. The conference includes 40+ workshops from a blue-ribbon panel of speakers, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with benediction, opportunity for Confession, beautiful music, good food, numer-ous Catholic vendors, Mass with Bishop Gainer as Principal Celebrant and Homilist, and fellowship with up to 1,000 men from around the Diocese of Harrisburg and beyond. SVLIFETEEN

NOVENA FOR LIFE The Knights of Columbus Council 3780, having a firm commitment to defending the right to life of every human being from the moment of conception to natural death, will be sponsoring a Novena for Life. This program of sustained prayer will be held on Saturdays after the "That Man Is You" program and will be held in the Adoration chapel. The start time will be approximately 8 am and will run for nine weeks. If there is a scheduled Mass that day, it will follow immediately after the Novena. All members of the parish are welcome.

R.E.A.L. DISCUSSION WITH FR. PIUS (Reflection, Enlightenment And Learning). Please mark your calendar and join us every Thursday in the Conference Room from 1-2 pm for R.E.A.L. discussion with Fr. Pius. We hope you will also join us at 11:40 am for Rosary, 12 Noon for Mass, and from 12:30-1 pm bring your own packed lunch or snack. We want to make sure that eating and bathroom needs are finished by 1 pm so that we can focus, without distraction, on what Fr. Pius wants to teach us.

Children and grandchildren of “Knights of Columbus Assembly 2641" Scholarships are awarded annually to children of current dues-paying 4th Degree Knight members in the organization to attend a degree granting post-secondary school on a full-time basis (12 or more credits) for the entire academic year as undergraduate/graduate-level students. There is one $750 scholarship being awarded. Students must apply each year. They may re-apply and re-compete every year for an annual scholarship. Applicant must be a child/grandchild of a 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus Assembly #2641 in good standing for at least the past year. The Robert C. Lindquist Educational Grant is based on merit. The scholarships are awarded for academic excel-lence, leadership, and demonstrated achievement. The submission deadline is May 31, 2019. With your generosity we raised $743.00. 100% of this will go towards the Global Wheelchair Mission, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to delivery of wheelchairs and mobility to children, teens and adults worldwide.

SAINT PIUS X ANNUAL BEACH TRIP We have started a fundraiser to help cover some of the cost- R & K Subs fundraiser forms can be found on the cabinet outside the Religious Ed office downstairs. Our beach trip includes swimming, volleyball, water park, go-carts, Mass on the beach, good food, new friends, old friends, prayer, and fun! We would love to have our teens in grades 7-12 join us June 20-25 at Cape Henlopen State Park for some fun in the sun! Registration ends Sunday, April 14- forms can be found in the Narthex, Parish Office, and downstairs outside the Religious Ed office.
