******* GREAT GIFT NEWS: Fall Bible Studies Coming! ******* Coming this October— St. Pius X Parish is offering you a BRAND NEW, NEVER BEFORE SEEN Bible Study from As-

cension Press: Ephesians—Discover Your Inheritance!! And not just once . . . but twice: on Mondays at 7 pm (starting Oct

2nd) and on Thursdays at 10:30 am (starting Oct 5th). The Ephesians study will be relatively short: Only eight sessions, an hour

each—30 minutes of DVD viewing and 30 minutes of workbook-guided discussion. AND THAT’S NOT ALL!! Because a clear

and firm understanding of the whole Bible is so essential to fully appreciating ANY Bible study, the parish will again be offering

The Bible Timeline—The Story of Salvation study—considered by ALL who have taken it as the ‘cornerstone’ of their apprecia-

tion of the story of our salvation . The Bible Timeline will run 24 sessions, 90 minutes each (60 minutes of DVD viewing and 30

minutes of workbook-guided discussion) on Saturday evenings (starting Oct 7th) at 6:15 pm (immediately following the 5 pm

Mass ) and it will include a light meal during DVD viewing time. More study information and registration dates coming in next

week’s bulletin!

******* MORE GIFT NEWS: A DAY FOR MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT! ******* Mark Your Calendar!! Also coming this October, on Saturday the 21st, St. Pius X Parish will be offering couples an oppor-

tunity to greatly Enrich Y OUR Marriage. This day’s activities will be an opportunity for you to take a BIG step forward in the

ENJOYMENT of your married life. The day’s overall focus will be on living—Happily Ever After: a Reality Tune-up (or as we

like to say, a day for your HEART). HEART activities will run from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and will include lunch. Morning activi-

ties will focus on skill building for improved relationships and the afternoon’s on the bonus spiritual gifts that are part of a healthy

marriage. As the headline, above, says: This will be a Day for Marriage Enrichment. This will be a day to CELEBRATE YOUR

MARRIAGE. This will be A TIME FOR Y OU to build A MORE FULFILLING MARRIAGE! It is designed for ENRICH-

MENT, not for helping ‘problem marriages’ or for marriage counseling. Couples attending will be doing things together. All cou-

ples’ discussions will be held in ‘private space’ allowing each partner to talk with and listen to the other. This is an opportunity to

make your marriage truly better. Our meeting space will accommodate 10 couples. Advanced registration will be required. So be

ready. More news about HEART registration will be published in mid-September! We are sure you will enjoy this couple time (as

well as discover new skills you can use to make your marriage more fulfilling and enjoyable for years to come)!
