SANCTUARY LAMPS AND ALTAR FLOWER MEMORIALS-If you would like to memorialize the Sanctuary candle in the Church, the Adoration Chapel or the Altar flowers, please contact the parish office with your request. The suggested offering for the Sanctuary candles are $ 25 each and the Altar Flowers are $100 for both.

GIFT BEARERS-Gift Bearers actively participate in the celebration of the Mass by presenting the gifts of Bread and Wine at the altar and require no special skill or permanent ministerial duty, and yet it is a beautiful and significant part of the Mass performed by lay people. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex.

R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation) is the process by which adults become members of the Catholic Church. Classes are held on Thursdays from 7– 8:15 pm from September to Easter. Please call the Parish office at 570.374.4113 for additional information.

PARISH PICNIC-SUNDAY, AUGUST 20, 2017 Our Annual Parish Picnic which will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 beginning at 12:15 pm at the parish pavilion. On the same day at the 11 am Mass, Bishop Ronald Gainer will celebrate Mass at St. Pius X Church and dedicate and bless our new stained glass windows. Following Mass, the Bishop will greet parishion-ers at the parish picnic. All are invited! The parish will provide chicken, sausages, hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages. Please bring a covered dish to share. There will be games for the children and a return of Dirty Bingo.
