KS1 Nativity Well done to Badgers and Hares for their brilliant performance! The inspectors were faced with tough health and safety
issues in Bethlehem but were finally convinced that the stable was worthy for a King. Thank you to all the family and friends who came to watch and support the production.

Christmas Hat Day Wed 18 Dec
To get fully into the spirit of Christmas, we’re inviting all the
children to wear their Christmas hats, with their full uniform,
on Wednesday 18 December (same day as the school’s Christmas lunch ).
Year 3 at British Museum
As part of their class topic 'Gods and Mortals', Year 3 went to the British Museum. They went to see the ancient Greek exhibition to learn what it was like to live in that era. The children had a lovely time!
Artist of the Week
This term, Deer class have been studying Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese contemporary artist and her style of art. She is known for her love of dots which she puts into every type of art she creates, be it paintings, sculptures, performances or installations. Here Ena has recreated the artist’s mixed media pumpkin painting including dots! Well done.
Seals Showcase Writing
As part of their class topic ’Pharaohs’, Seals have written biographies of Cleopatra. Here is Jessica’s informative and interesting account. Well done!
Term ends Friday 19 December 12pm
Term starts Tuesday 7 January 9am
KS2 Christmas Carol Concert
On Tuesday, Years 3,4,5 & 6 sang beautifully in their Christmas Carol Concert at St. Thomas’ Church. Their prayers reminded us to focus on the things that really matter this season, as we await the coming of our Lord
Jesus Christ.
Year 6 Workshop
As part of their secondary transition work, Y6 have been exploring the themes of prejudice and discrimination through a workshop run by Equaliteach. The aim was to equip them with the skills to understand what stereotyping means and the dangers of it. The children then looked at where we get our information from and that not everything we read or hear is always true. The workshop sparked lots of debate and was very informative and engaging.
