James Munro, Trading StandardsJames is the Head of National Trading Standards Estate Agency Team (NTSEAT), which is the UK’s Lead Enforcement Authority for estate agency work. James is a Chartered Trading Standards Practitioner and was Chair of the Wales Branch of the Chartered

Trading Standards Institute from 2013 to 2015.

Clive Robins, Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)Clive is involved in managing the CMA Cartels Hotline and works closely with members of the public who wish to provide information confidentially. Prior to joining CMA, Clive spent 30 years in the Royal Military Police as Head of

Serious and Complex Crime investigation, Head of Professional Standards and Head of Intelligence.

David Pollock, Greene and CoHaving been brought in to open a second office, David became Greene and Co’s biggest shareholder and was at the heart of selling the multiple independent chain to Countrywide for “an eye watering sum”. Greene and Co rose to fame on BBC’s fly on the

wall documentary The Property People and in David’s book 101 Things Your Estate Agent Should Tell You.

Charlotte McHaffie, Scottish GovernmentHeading up the Letting Agent Regulation Team in the Scottish Government, Charlotte has played a pivotal role in the development of Letting Agent Registration. She will share a Government perspective on the impact of

recent changes, enforcement activity and discuss issues including the Repairing Standard.

Rory Cowan, BKFRory is a commercial and property litigator and one of the leading providers of legal services to the Private Rented Sector in Scotland. Rory also has considerable experience in dealing with statutory appeals. He is regularly instructed in relation to appeals
