1) Guided tour of the castle village of Sanluri + Food and Wine Tour

(45 minutes from Cagliari).

Guided tour of the Castle of Queen Eleanor of Arborea of Sanluri. In 1409, the battle of Sanluri, the

Catalan-Aragonese (currently two regions of Spain) defeated the reign of Queen Eleanor, who was

at the head of the last independent state of Sardinia.

Inside the castle is a museum, which displays military memorabilia from the First World War and

antique furniture.

It continues with a guided tour of the village of Sanluri.

We will continue the tour by going to a winery for a wine tour through the flavors of Sardinia.

2) Cagliari City tour: Tourist train + guided tour of the city

It starts from Piazza del Carmine, about 100m from the train station, with a tour on the little train

that will show us all the charm of the historic area of the city of Cagliari. On the way back, meeting

with the guide in Piazza del Carmine for a journey on foot to explore the city.

From April 1 to October 31.

Meeting for the tourist train in Cagliari from Piazza del Carmine at 09:30am and back to Piazza del

Carmine (about 1 hour journey. The train leaves every hour from 10:00am. Limited availability of

seats on board.). Follow guided tour of Cagliari about 3h.

3) Visit the old town of Sardara + lunch at the hotel with thermal pools

(50 minutes from Cagliari).

We are in the village of Sardara, about 45 minutes from Cagliari. On this tour, we visit with a walk

by foot, the characteristic old town of Sardara and the museum in the center of the village.

The visit continues with the archaeological area of St. Anastasia, always at the center of the village

of Sardara, unique historic site of the Nuragic period (about 3,000 years ago), located within a city.

Inside the Archaeological area, there is a Holy Well, where in ancient times its water was

considered a healer of all evils.

We then stop for lunch in a hotel with thermal pools.

From Tuesday to Sunday.

We recommend comfortable clothing. Bring your bathing suit and flip flops for the pool.

4) Theme Park: "Miniature Sardinia"

(55 minutes from Cagliari).

Built with the shape of the island of Sardinia, the theme park is easily runs with a walk of

about 360 meters, where you can see the history, cities, monuments and nature of the whole

Sardinia.

Inside the park it is also located:

1- The Planetarium;

2- The Museum of Astronomy;

3- Biosphere of Sardinia;

4- The Botanical Trail;

5- Pavilion nuragico;

6- Dinosaur Park.

Inside the park: restaurant, snack bar, picnic area, store.

5) Handicraft workshop carpet + food and wine tour and visit to a Nuraghe

(50 minutes from Cagliari)

Cultural route and visit to the workshops of the masters who produce handmade carpets and

tapestries and path food and wine tour with tasting of wines and local produce.

During the tour, there will be also an opportunity to visit a Nuraghe that looks right on the

cellar.

6) Laboratory of artistic bread and typical Sardinian handmade pasta

Route bread laboratory and the handmade pasta, in which the owner of the business will see

the stages of processing and creation of artistic bread, with an interesting demonstration

related to manual processing of typical Sardinian pasta.

You can also try it with you to make the dough with your hands!

7) "Su Nuraxi" in Barumini UNESCO + “La Giara” Nature Park

(55 minutes from Cagliari).

Everyday.

Visit to the nuragic village "Su Nuraxi", a UNESCO World Heritage site.

It’s a settlement dating back more than 3,000 years ago.

The day continues with a visit to the highlands of “La Giara”. The Giare are the highlands

covered with cork and the Mediterranean and were originally used as natural fortresses.

Inside the park live in the wild ponies of the Giara.

8) Underground caves and Temple of Antas

(1 hour 20 minutes from Cagliari).

Guided tour of the underground Caves "Su Mannau", which extend in a walkway of 500 m.

The tour continues with a visit to the site of the Temple of Antas (10 min from the Caves).

The Antas Temple was built in 500 a.c. in honor to the god of the Sardinians. The Romans

rebuilt the temple around the year 0, and is the realization of the latter of which we still see

the remains today.

10) Bike Tour + Visit to Ancient village of Sardara with 1 night in hotel

2nd: Start from Sardara-Sa Corona Arrubia-Giara of Siddi-Sa Domu de sorcu-Sardara.

30 Km, suitable for adult cyclists (about 3h30')

From March 1 to November 30. Except Mondays.

Day 1: Departure at 9:00am from Piazza Matteotti (in front of Cagliari railway station). Mountain

bike hire and start tour. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning guided tour of the ancient town of Sardara. Return to

Cagliari.

At the start dressing with sportswear (athletic shoes, cycling suit or dress). Bring a bottle of water

and snacks.

12) Visit to Montevecchio Mine and Visit the brewery

(1h from Cagliari)

From February 1 to September 30: from Monday to Friday.

Departure at 9:00am from Piazza Matteotti (in front of Cagliari railway station).

Morning: visit to the brewery (about 1:30h/2h)

Afternoon: visit to the mine (about 2h15’)

We recommend comfortable clothing and sportswear, and in particular:

We visit the Brewery 4 Mori, with the explanation of the production process stages of the beer and

beer tasting and local products.

We visit the ruins of the Montevecchio mine, which were obtained respectively, zinc and lead. In

the mining village there were: the building of management, housing for the workers, military

barracks, a hospital, schools, a post office, a cinema and a football field.

13) Visit to a cheese factory. Tasting of cheese and laboratory

(40 minutes from Cagliari)

All the year: from Monday to Friday.

It will describe all of the cheese processing stages, from production to shipping (for the visit was

required to wear a kit consisting of cap, gown and booties).

Visit to the Cheese Museum (inside the cheese factory), where you have the chance to see some

tools used in the past for the production of cheese.

(The manufacturing steps may be different depending on the day and time of year, but will still be

guaranteed throughout the description of the cheese manufacturing steps.)

The tasting will take place in a large air conditioned room covered with a large terrace.

Following the laboratory, where guests have the opportunity to prepare with his own hands the

famous Sardinian cheese!

14) Excursion driving the quad

(about 1 hour from Cagliari)

It starts from Arbus, at 09:30am, for a quad excursion to the mines of Montevecchio and Ingurtosu,

with a total distance of about 50km (3h).

It is also expected to pass close to beautiful marine sand dunes of Piscinas.

Lunch in a farmhouse or restaurant.

Departure at 8:00am from Piazza Matteotti (in front of Cagliari railway station).

We recommend a sportswear, with a jacket or with an above tracksuit with long sleeves.

The fee includes: Transfers to / from Cagliari, quad rental, fuel, helmet, quad frontrunners with an
