Extend On-Premise Solutions

SAP HCP can be used as extension platform to extend existing SAP on-

premise solutions via your HCP-based application.

HCP Connectivity Service

– SAP HCP connectivity service allows a secure, and easy-to-consume access to

remote services running in an on-premise network (via HTTP or RFC).

HANA Cloud Connector

– SAP HANA Cloud connector serves as the link between on-demand applications in

SAP HCP and existing on-premise systems.

Custom ABAP coding

– If the partner app simply creates API wrappers for already existing APIs in the SAP backend, it will be

considered an HCP on-premise extension.

– For a full ABAP add-on running in the back-end and providing additional new application functionality, ABAP

add-on certification criteria will be considered the primary certification criteria to cover the end-to-end scenario.

The HCP-related certification steps will then be conducted as part of the ABAP certification process

Low Entry Certification Pricing

Deployment of New Cloud Applications, or pure Cloud Extensions:

Certification fee starts at 1500 Euro in Year One

o Renew in second year 1000 Euro

o Renew in third year 1000 Euro

Alternatively pay 2500 Euro upfront for all 3 years (annual re-certification included)

On-Premise Extensions, or combined On-Premise/Cloud Extension

Certification fee starts at 3000 Euro in Year One

o Renew in second year 2000 Euro

o Renew in third year 2000 Euro

Alternatively pay 5000 Euro upfront for all 3 years (annual re-certification included)

Special ICC Campaign in 2016:

SAP will waive the certification fee for all scenarios in the first year, provided vendor

commits to complete the certification testing by November 10, 2016.
