If you are in the business of employing IT positions, it’s time for a salary review. IT employees are still the highest paid junior executives and supervisors among their peers. Even in the managerial level, they are still second highest paid to those practicing Corporate Strategy.

Salaries of managers experienced the most dramatic increases compared to last year, averaging a monthly increase of Php 5,000 across the board.

Take note of competition from BPOs (business process outsourcing) companies as they have been also aggressive in hiring other specializations such as healthcare and finance. In fact, these specializations experienced salary increases in 2016, while average salaries for the BPO industry’s core business, customer service, fell.
