en nuestra diócesis durante el Año Santo Jubilar.

Peregrinos vendrán durante todo el año para atravesar la puerta Santa, Participar en la Santa Misa y Orar por las intenciones del

Santo Padre. Es un año de gracia para ganar indulgencias.

Sacred Heart-Guadalupe Church

has been chosen to be one of the 6 Pilgrim Sites in The Diocese.

Pilgrims will come throughout the year to pass into the Holy Door, participate in the Holy celebration of mass, and

to pray for the intentions of The Holy Father. It is a year of grace to obtain indulgences.

LOVE OF NEIGHBOREl Señor Jesús habla de amar a Dios y al prójimo con todo el corazón para llegar a la vida eterna. No es una ley que no po-damos cumplir, sino que está en nuestros labios y en nuestro corazón para que la practiquemos. En la parábola del buen sa-maritano, el sacerdote y el levita no se detienen a auxiliar al heri-do; sin embargo, el extranjero se detiene y lo ayuda a sanar. “Per-dona nuestras ofensas, como también nosotros perdonamos a los que nos ofenden” se explica a medias en este contexto. Nuestro prójimo nos sujeta a la cruz de Cristo, por la cual recibimos la salvación y la nueva vida. ¡Qué alegría!

The Lord Jesus presents wholehearted love of God and neighbor as the key to eternal life. It is not a law beyond us but is “in our mouth and in our heart for our observance. ”In the almost too fa-miliar story of the good Samaritan, the priest and the Levite pass by and the foreigner does the healing work. “Forgive us our tres-passes as we forgive those who trespass against us” is partially explained here. Our neighbors tie us to the cross of the Christ by which we are saved and raised up. It is an exacting joy!
