FEAST DAY JUNE 27
REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. In-spired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Moth-er; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Legion of Mary free library will be out in the
front of church at all masses this weekend
June 24 & 25th.
Feel free to stop by and browse through our books.
Thank you, to all who have donated!
New Parish App Coming Soon! In 3 weeks Sacred Heart Church & St. Gerard Mission will launch our own app for iPhone and Android smart phones. This will allow us to better communicate with you through-out the week and keep you updated with relevant parish news or updates. The app is very well designed and very intuitive. It will be a great resource for parishioners by providing daily Mass readings, Catholic news and prayers, convenient prayer and Confession re-minders, our bulletins and more. We hope for our new app to be a tool for fostering stronger parish life at Sacred Heart Church & St. Gerard Mission and better engaging the New Evangelization.

Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill
2017 Mission Cooperation Appeal in our Parish
June 17-18, 2017
It was wonderful to be able to sponsor the Diocesan Mission Cooperation Appeal in our parish again this year. On June 17-18, 2017 we were honored to have Sister Vivien Linkhauer, SC with us to share the good news of the mission works of the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill in China, South Korea and Ecuador.
The Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill first missioned four sisters from Pennsylvania to Korea in 1960. At that time it took a month for the sisters to travel by freighter ship to Korea, now it takes only hours by airplane! As our world grows smaller, our hearts grow larger and we reach out to others.
We were pleased to have this opportunity to learn about the missions and to help with our prayers and donations. As the sisters continue to bring the love of the Lord to the people they serve, they need our help—they cannot do it alone! Wherever we may live we are all missionaries and can help in different ways!
Please give from the heart this weekend to help spread the Gospel throughout the world and assist the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill to share God’s love with those in need. Your prayers and donations will bring blessings of hope and healing!
God Bless You for Your Generosity!
Please use the Mission Collection envelope and put in the collection basket. Thank you!
FEAST DAY JUNE 23
O most holy heart of Jesus, foun-tain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins I offer you this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to your will. Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, your blessing on all that I
do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen
Heavenly Father, We could never thank our military men and women enough for their cou-rageous service and sacrifice to our country and its people. Show us ways in our communi-ties, churches, and families to thank and love them better. Keep and protect these heroes and
their families, in the powerful name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
