• 75% cost borne by people for all infrastructure

• 25% Cost as One time external investment ofSocial Cost

Operational Maintenance

• Identifying maintenance mechanisms, e.g.

contribution from harvests; community

pisciculture; monthly payments

• Moving from flat rate fee (Rs1-2 per HH pa) towater metering (where possible)

• Using only renewable water sources (bore hole or

sanitary open dug wells)….. You have as muchright to water as you can recharge to the earth.
