The VISTA-128BPT is a powerful member of the Honeywell

family of commercial alarm panels, integrating burglary, CCTV

and access control functions. Many features are available that

extend the applications of the VISTA-128BPT while simplifying

end-user operation.

The VISTA-128BPT and VISTA-128BPTSIA are listed for

residential burglary, residential fire and commercial burglary

applications (see agency listings in this document for

more details). They are compatible with a wide range of

AlarmNet communications products for alarm reporting,

uploading /downloading and remote services.

Basic Hardwired Zones

Provides nine style-B hardwired zoneswith the following characteristics:

• EOLR supervision (optional for zones2-8) supporting N.O. or N.C. sensors(EOLR supervision required for fireand UL burglary installations)

• Individually assignable to one of eight partitions

• Up to 16 two-wire smoke detectors on zone 1

• Four-wire smoke or heat detectors on zones 1-8 (power to four-wiresmoke detectors must be supervisedwith an EOL device). Listed forresidential fire only.

Polling Loop Expansion

Supports up to 119 additional zonesusing a built-in polling (V-Plex, multiplex)loop interface. Current draw can totalup to 128mA. Polling loop zones havethe following characteristics:

ChargingCycle Applications: Limit initial current to 2.1A. Charge until battery voltage (under charge) reaches 14.4 to 14.7 volts at 68°F (20°C). Hold at 14.4 to 14.7 volts until current drops to under 70mA. Battery is fully charged under these conditions, and charger should be disconnected or switched to “float” voltage.

“Float” or “Stand-By” Service: Hold battery across constant voltage source of 13.5 to 13.8 volts continuously. When held at this voltage, the battery will seek its own current level and maintain itself in a fully charged condition.

Note: Due to the self-discharge characteristics of this type of battery, it is imperative that they be charged within 6 months of storage, otherwise permanent loss of capacity might occur as a result of sulfation.

The 4208SN Remote Point Module (RPM) is an eight-zone expander that allows the use of available expansion zones on

ADEMCO controls that support V-Plex polling loop devices.

• Can be used on controls thatsupport up to 250 zones

Intrusion

The Interlogix 1078 Series Steel Door contacts are designed specifically

for use in the steel doors commonly found in commercial building

applications. The unique housing design features a rugged unibody

construction with flexible ribbed sides for quick, secure installation

without gluing. The magnet housing isolates the magnet from the

surrounding steel for maximum gap distances, both make and break.

Over seven models including: Wide Gap, SPDT, DPDT, and Biased for

High Security applications make the 1078 Series the most widely used

and comprehensive line available.

On available models a terminal connection (T) makes installation easier.

Simply strip the wire, insert it into the terminal block and tighten. The

terminal accepts any wire size from 14 to 22 gauge, and has a unique

one piece design for added strength.

An optional Rare Earth Magnet is available. It is designed for use

in metal entry/exit doors with a channel in the top of the door. The

magnet eliminates the need to cut a mounting hole in the door channel.

The flexible magnet housing can be compressed to accommodate

a variety of channel widths for quick, easy installation. Adhesive is

recommended.

The contact contains a hermetically sealed magnetic reed switch. The

reed shall be potted in the contact housing with a polyurethane based

compound. Contact and magnet housing shall snap-lock into a 3/4" or

1" dia. hole. Housings shall be molded of flame retardant ABS plastic.

Color of housings shall be off-white, gray or mahogany brown. The

magnet shall be made of Alnico V. Rare Earth Magnet shall be made of

neodymium iron boron.

Snap-lock insulation bushing for tight fit and maximum gap in steel.

Both contact and magnet plastic housings are constructed of one piece

of thick-walled ABS plastic for maximum strength and durability.
