• Why is Robert Fulton important? There is many things.

• He a great inventor that was told a lot of times that “that’s impossible”. He would say nothing is impossible.

• He created the first steamboat successfully and the first submarine he had great ideas and people didn’t think he was right and he proved them wrong.
