West Coast Oysters is a family business that I run with my wife Angela. We love the sea and the great outdoors, and as the seasons change, the environment that we work in is different everyday.

We condition our oysters over a clean sandy bank surrounded by deep water within the entrance to beautiful Coffin Bay. Nutrient rich currents stemming from natural upwellings in the Great Australian Bight provide the oysters with all the food they need. Combined with fierce winds creating heavy wave action, our growing conditions produce a hard shelled, clean oyster with a crisp Southern Ocean taste.

Our waters are perfect for producing some of Australia’s best oysters. It takes a lot of hard work, attention to detail and a passion for oysters to produce the best possible product for you to enjoy.

24 years ago we left the city behind for a sea change and have never looked back!
