I am a graphic designer based in Adelaide, South Australia, originally from the

UK, having lived here now with my wife for almost 9 years. Professionally, I

have over fifteen years experience providing diverse and conceptual design to

a wide variety of clients, here in Australia and in the UK.

Currently I work as a freelance designer for numerous clients, providing

striking, creative and innovative design, at the same time promoting and

supporting their products and ideals. This work embraces print, digital and

web mediums for marketing, advertising, and industrial applications.

Thus, collaborating with many different organisations, individuals and

departments to achieve and deliver these desired design solutions is

imperative. I pride myself on being well organised, motivated and the ability

to work to extremely tight deadlines, whilst maintaining meticulous attention

to detail and accuracy. With this in mind, and alongside projects for my UK

clients, I am sometimes required to work anti-social hours to satisfy their

demands, as well of those of their clients.

In my spare time, I love nothing more than spending time with my family and

friends. I am a very proud dad, and spend a lot of time watching my daughter

swim, dance and play sport. I too enjoy getting out whether it be, walking,

running or cycling, as this makes me feel good. I am an avid fan of Liverpool

FC, but if you know about football, this is not always easy.

MEMBRANE KEYPADS / OVERLAYSThese are products that I created/designed in conjunction with the customers requirements and branding. Not only is artwork created, but all Industrial design jobs include fully dimensioned approval drawings, as accuracy is paramount. Once approved, production/manufacturing files are generated.

These products can vary from a simple 2 layer overlay (comprising a fascia material and rear adhesive - see top two examples) to a 15 layer membrane keypad design. The keypad designs include at least one circuit layer, multiple adhesive layers, a spacer layer, and/or tactile domes and embossing. Each product is unique in design and structure.

PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHYAs part of my role working with ROC-SOLID, I took many product photographs of their rugged computers for marketing and branding purposes. These products were photographed in multiple forms and views, including many close up images of individual components. These were then retouched for use in advertising and marketing them across print and web mediums.
