1. July 21, 2013 Dear Potential Donor, RE: REQUEST FOR DONATIONS. Prof Academic Centre is respectfully requesting for a grant in the amount of range $50 000 US dollars to $3 000 000 US dollars to support its educational programs. We are conscious of the changing demographics in our service areas, and are committed to growing and adapting our centers to meet emerging needs. Prof Academic Centre is an educational tuition Centre which I started three years ago in Lusaka. It aims to provide exemplary education to school learners and is committed to providing all of its scholars with the academic knowledge and critical thinking skills needed to succeed in school and life. I have taken the responsibility of educating them as per my capabilities helping them reach proficiency in Sciences, Mathematics and English language. The Centre achieved measurable success during the year 2010 in providing education to nearly 20 learners and many have since been promoted to the next level after they cleared annual exams. To date, the Centre has served over 100 students. This year, the project has since extended to Livingstone city. The communities are clearly excited and eager to see this project succeed in an effort to be the most inclusive and competent school for scholars in all of the communities that need these services. To expand this program, carry forward my ambitious projects and provide proper education to more needy learners, I request you for monetary contributions. Your support will provide funding for the critical infrastructure, physical and human resources for the centers. With this funding, and in conjunction with this funding, I will make a number of modifications or changes to my current businesses in order to 2. Page 2 of 2 reach my targets (i.e. increasing staff, acquire parcel of land, signing a new contract, buying more or cheaper inventory, etc.). Material donations can be furniture, text books, supplies, computers and et cetera. Your donation will bring us closer to our goal of US$3 000,000. Any help that you may provide is welcome and I will be highly obliged to you for your support. Thank you for your attention to this critical need. I look forward to your positive consideration of support for my school which will help me in fulfilling my wish of owning and running an exemplary school. If you have any queries regarding the school, fund management policy, or the project itself, please feel free to contact me on the addresses above. Faithfully yours, Yahns Chalubemba Director
