Letter Request

• These are NOCs and Salary Letters that can be requested online and available to FZ

Companies and JAFZA employees.

• Each request generates a Single Original Copy. If more than one original copy is

required, then select the letter type again and submit accordingly.

• Inputs are mandatory for all Letters. They can be entered by clicking on the 'Inputs' corresponding for that Letter Type. Any correction in Input values shall be saved and

updated. only upon clicking "Submit for Approval" in the case of Data Entry User and

"Submit to Jafza" for Data Approving User without exiting the particular request

option.

Navigation:

1. On the Service Menu, click on Letter Request

2. Click on Create New Request on the Service Main Screen

3. This will bring you to the page where different types of letters can be requested.

4. Click on the Letter to be requested.

A. Company Letter to External Agency – Arabic: This Letter is addressed to the

Economic Department, Dubai Municipality, Finance Ministry or Chamber of

Commerce. This letter is required to open a new company outside of JAFZA.

a. Choose where the letter is “Addressed To””

b. Choose the Emirate

B. Letter to Abu Dhabi Security Passes Office- Arabic - Use this service to request a

letter in order for any employee to visit oilfields and related government sites in Abu

Dhabi.

a. Enter Employee Number by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

search using the following criteria: Employee Number, First Name, Last

Name, Passport Number, Job Title or Nationality

b. Specify the Place to Visit in Abu Dhabi

c. Enter Name of the Visiting Company

d. Enter Visit Starting Date by clicking on the calendar icon next to the field

and picking the date.

e. Select the Number of Months of the Visit from the dropdown.

f. Specify the Reason for Request(Optional)

C. Letter to Consulate or Embassy – Arabic: This is used to obtain a No Objection

Letter to secure approval from a consulate or embassy to travel (obtain a visa) to their

country. This letter is required by some consulates or embassies.

a. Enter Employee Number by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

search using the following criteria: Employee Number, First Name, Last

Name, Passport Number, Job Title, Nationality or “Basic Salary Greater

Than”.

b. Select whether it is addressed to Consulate or Embassy

c. Select the Consulate/Embassy Name (Country)

d. Select the Visa Type

e. Select if Normal or Multiple Entry

f. Select Final Destination, If Transit Visa

g. Specify the Reason for Request (Optional)

D. Letter to Consulate or Embassy – English. This is the same as the above letter,

except that this letter is written in the English Language.

E. Letter to Consulate or Embassy of SCHENGEN countries- English – This

letter is used to obtain an entry visa into SCHENGEN countries

a. Enter Employee Number by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

search using the following criteria: Employee Number, First Name, Last

Name, Passport Number, Job Title, Nationality or “Basic Salary Greater

Than”.

b. Enter whether it is addressed to a consulate or embassy

c. Select the Consulate or Embassy name of the Schengen country

d. Select the Purpose of Visit

e. Choose whether it is Multiple or Single Entry

f. Specify the Reason for Request

F. Letter to Police on Lost Documents – Arabic: This service is used for

requesting the Police Department to provide a lost document report. . The Police

Department will issue reports for lost CECs, Identity Cards, Passports or Entry Permits.

a. Enter Employee Number by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

search using the following criteria: Employee Number, First Name, Last

Name, Passport Number, Job Title, or Nationality

b. Select the Type of Missing Document from the dropdown

c. Enter the Name of the Police Station

d. Select the Emirate

e. Enter the Date when the document was lost by clicking on the calendar

icon and choosing the appropriate date.

f. Enter the Place where the Document was lost.

g. Specify the Reason for Request

G. Letter to Road Transport Authority – Arabic: This service is used to apply

for driving instructions/driving license and vehicle registration. Registration only

applies to saloon cars and vehicles up to three tons.

a. Enter Employee Number by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

search using the following criteria: Employee Number, First Name, Last

Name, Passport Number, Job Title, or Nationality

b. Select Vehicle Registration or License category from the dropdown

c. Select Applicable Country (For Conversion)

d. Choose the Vehicle Type from the dropdown

e. Specify Reason for Request

H. Letter to UAE Port Authorities for Pass Clearance – Arabic : This service is

used to obtain a No Objection Certificate to visit ports in the UAE outside of JAFZA

for the purpose of shipping goods to them

a. Enter Employee Number by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

search using the following criteria: Employee Number, First Name, Last

Name, Passport Number, Job Title, or Nationality

b. Select the Name of the Port from the dropdown list

c. Specify the Name of the Ship

d. Enter the Start Date by clicking on the calendar icon next to the field and

choosing the appropriate date from the pop-up

e. Select the Duration of Visit from the dropdown

f. Specify the Reason for the Request/ Additional information for JAFZA.

I. Salary Certificate to Bank – English: This service is used to open a bank

account or to avail of any other bank services.

a. Enter Employee Number by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

search using the following criteria: Employee Number, First Name, Last

Name, Passport Number, Job Title, Nationality or “Basic Salary Greater

Than”.

b. Enter the Bank Name by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

searching for the appropriate Bank Name from the pop-up window.

c. Enter the correct Bank Address

d. Choose Emirate from the dropdown

e. Specify the Reason for Request

J. Salary Certificate to Consulate or Embassy – Arabic : This service is used to

request for salary certificates to be presented to consulates or embassies in order to

apply for visas to their countries

a. Enter Employee Number by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

search using one of the following criteria: Employee Number, First

Name, Last Name, Passport Number, Job Title, Nationality or “Basic

Salary Greater Than”.

b. Select Addressed to Consulate or Embassy

c. Select Consulate or Embassy name from the dropdown list

d. Specify the reason for request

K. Salary Certificate to Consulate or Embassy – English. Same as above

document, except that this letter is written in the English language.

L. Salary Certificate to Government Agency – Arabic: This service is used to

apply for salary certificates to be used for government departments.

a. Enter Employee Number by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

search using one of the following criteria: Employee Number, First

Name, Last Name, Passport Number, Job Title, Nationality or “Basic

Salary Greater Than”.

b. Select the Government Agency the Letter is Addressed to from the

dropdown list

c. Select the Emirate

d. Specify Reason for Request (Optional)

M. Service Certificate – English: This service is used to apply for a service

certificate or employment certificate. A Service Certificate is written proof of

employment with a company,

a. Enter Employee Number by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and

search using one of the following criteria: Employee Number, First

Name, Last Name, Passport Number, Job Title, Nationality or “Basic

Salary Greater Than”.

b. Select whether it is addressed to a consulate or an embassy from the

dropdown list.

c. Select Consulate or Embassy name from the dropdown list.

d. Specify the Reason for Request/ Additional information for JAFZA

5. Click on Save Request for later action or Submit to Free Zone (Approver) or Submit

to Approver (Entry).
