REFRIGERANT PROBLEMS MODEL: - All models SYMPTOM: - Under cooling - Cooling n.g PROBLEM: - Low charge, obstructions, gas leak SOLUTION: - Repair circuit and recharge

ACTION:

Disassemble freezer room and keep the door opened and compressor working. After some minutes check if frost is uniform in all evaporator surface. If frost is uniform (like picture shows) , then we reject gas problem possibility.

IF evaporator doesn’t accumulate frost, or condenser is cold, then we concrete that there’s a leak point. All welding points must be checked (look for welding pints with oil) and for evaporator check we recommend make “water test” (explained in next page)

IF frost is not uniform and eva-in accumulate a lot of ice, can be considered a semi-obstruction problem. In this case we recommend replace evaporator

Page 17: Repair Guide for Combi Ref Demesa

For making “Water Test” or replace evaporator, we must follow next steps: - Disassemble condenser

- Take out suction pipe mass and keep it for assemble it later

- Carefully, put straight the suction pipe

- Cut charge pipe

Page 18: Repair Guide for Combi Ref Demesa

- Input trough charge pipe 10BAR nitrogen pressure

- Disassemble evaporator and disconnect electric parts. - Input evaporator completely in a water tank and look for possible leak points. - Make a visual inspection of all pipes in order to find oil rests (leak symptom), and , with pressure, use water with soap spray in the welding points.

- When leak is not found, or reasons are not clear, or set was repaired but appears again the same problem, we recommend clean internal circuit with nitrogen, change evaporator and dryer and recharge again. Evaporator will be supplied with suction a capillary welded.
