The Idea of remoteSchool We have to look beyond conventional means to find a solution to educate 10 mil-

lion children living in urban slums & beyond. The emerging technology-regime of

Internet-of-Things (IoT) can possibly be a solution. Thus an IoT based Social En-

terprise was envisioned to serve the humanity.

‘School-in-a-Tab’ will not only educate children in Mumbai, Dhaka, Karachi, Kabul,

Nairobi, Cape town, Canberra, and Sao Paulo, but will create an internet-of-

people, thus will open new avenues for global peace, prosperity & conflict resolu-

tion.

Coming from Indus Valley Civilization remoteSchool will resurrect the wisdom of

Chankya for every child, by transforming the Education system in the world.

Women Entrepreneurs We are focusing on to produce a whole new layer of women enterprenures in ur-

The Reality When we visited an Urban Slum of

Islamabad, the Capital of Pakistan,

we came across kids playing in

streets, with flowing noses. We

asked the mother of one 6 year old

boy named “Guddo”, why don’t

you educate your son? The an-

swer was quite moving and she

said “She needs Business (to live),

Healthcare and only than Educa-

tion”

On the way back to Isra University,

Islamabad, team remoteSchool

decided to come-up with a Com-

prehensive Human Development

Program for poorest of the people

living in Urban Slums around the

Globe. The Challenge is, all this

has to be achieved under Dollar a

day !
