REAR SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY
As a general rule each wishbone attachment point will have a bolt 4 washers and a nut. There will be a larger
electro galvanized washer on each side of the Visconite bushing between the bushing and the chassis
attachment point. The smaller stainless steel washer goes between the bolt head or nut and the chassis
attachment point. The picture below shows all of the lower rear wishbone components in the order they are
to be assembled.
The picture below shows the rear lower wishbone attached. The bushing/spacer to the left is to
accommodate the rear bulkhead that the rear differential mount attaches to. Note the direction of the bolt.
The picture below shows the front lower wishbone attached to the chassis. The nut is inside the cockpit.
The picture below shows all of the components upper rear wishbone components in the order they are to be
assembled. The straighter of the two sides goes to the rear. There is also a bushing/spacer for the rear
bulkhead.
The two pictures below show the rear upper wishbone attachment and the front upper wishbone attachment
respectively.
The picture below shows both wishbones installed. Note that the upper ball joint is centered between the
two lower ball joints.
The next two pictures show the upright assembly, (this is the older cast aluminum style upright, the
orientation of the new billet upright is the same) with the brake caliper, installed. Note these pictures are of
the left side of the car the pictures above are of the right side.
