USTIFY i J n religion means "To declare innocent; guiltless; absolve or acquit". Glorified in the same vein means "To give glory; honour; or high praise to; exalt". Justified to be glorified would therefore mean "The declaration of innocency upon a life for the purpose of glorification; the proclamation of not guilty upon an individual for them to be exalted; or the acquittal of someone from charges levied against them in order to bring them into a position of honour". The Bible says that sin is a reproach to any people; however righteousness does exalt nations (Prov. 14:34). To be truly exalted or glorified in life therefore, one needs to have been justified before. Sad to say that some Christians remain in a state of dishonour by their own making, by living in ignorance, even though they have been justified to be glorified (Prov. 29:18). God however wants His children to live a life of honour and glory as this in turn will bring glory and honour to Him in the eyes of men (Philippians 2:15-26; 3 John 2). That is why in Rom. 8:28-30, we have a supposed sequence of the life trail of a believer, which ours should indeed follow: That whatever happens, all things must work together for good eventually to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. This is because God already foreknew both the person and their circumstances and had equally predestined how things should favour the believer. At a later stage in such person's life, they are called by God to go through certain experiences, if they are faithful and became justified in their calling, then their glorification must definitely follow. Abraham for example was foreknown by God. The land of Canaan was polluted with much idolatry, God saw the heart of Abraham and so handpicked him from idolatry somewhere else to raise a special generation replacing those already in Canaan. Having conformed to the image of Christ through obedience and humility when he was called, Abraham received justification and therefore was glorified. In this month of March and beyond, God wants us to take our calling and justification very seriously, in doing so; our glorification will be definite and huge. ANY M times God makes promises years before He intends for them to happen. For example, Jesus coming was promised by God as far back as the Garden of Eden (Gen. 3:15) and subsequently by the Prophets (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6-7; Micah 5:2; etc.). The annunciation proper was later made to Mary by Angel Gabriel when God was ready to fulfil His plan (Lk. 1:26-38). As we were rounding up 2015, God began to tell me what He will do for us in 2016. Some of the things He said: FOR INDIVIDUALS 1 Some families will trace the beginning of their generational blessings to this year. 2. Some will receive help from unexpected sources. 3. Grateful hearts will have more causes to be grateful 4. For many, the pendulum of life will generally be on the upward swing 5. A chosen few will receive blessings so large they can hardly contain them FOR NIGERIA 1. Things are likely to get tougher, before they get better, but things will definitely get better before the year ends. 2. What He started last year, He will finish this year, provided we don’t rejoice too soon. INTERNATIONAL 1. Natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, are likely to get progressively worse, until governments realize that these are part of divine judgement against those who have passed unholy laws. If governments will repent of disdaining Christ and His church, He will help them win the fight against terrorism. 2. A major war will be averted this year 3. A new sexually transmitted diseases will surface. By Pastor E.A Adeboye, RCCG General Overseer - I have told you before that you will be a City that cannot be hidden; I will begin to fulfil this promise to you from 2016. - Your light shall no longer be hidden anymore. - This will be your year of exclamations of wonders that will be very audible and well perceived. - Your name shall begin to ring pleasing bells where it matters from now on. - You have been doing your assignment quietly, but I will noise your fame abroad from this year. - As nine symbolizes finality of numbers, my final comment to you at this stage is that I am pleased with you. - You have been weighed and found just. In tough and easy times, you have stood firm. Therefore, I will open the doors of the world to you. - You have passed the test of faithfulness after nine years of steadfastness. Now it's your time to be revealed and shown forth. - The Angel of my presence will introduce you to people you will never have been able to speak to. I am particularly expectant for what God has in store for us in 2016, I am very persuaded that it shall be our most successful and impactful year yet in our history as a group. JUSTIFIED TO BE GLORIFIEDContinued from Page 2an error to assume that they are the basis of being justified before God.We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.- Isa.64: 6A person is justified by coming to God • In Humility • Repentance • Faith in the finished work of Jesus

What does it mean to be glorified? • More pondering questions • Does it mean to reflect The Glory of Christ or share in His Glory? • Is it a Future Glory when Jesus returns or a Present Glory on earth?

Reflect Christ’s Glory (here on Earth).

But we Christians have no veil over our faces; we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him. -2 Cor. 3: 18 (TLB).

Share in His Glory (Future)

Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory - Rom5:2 (NLT) .Also check Rom. 8:17-18

Concluding ThoughtsThe ultimate form of Glorification is when we are transformed into our new bodies on Jesus Christ’s return. (see Rom 8:23)We don’t have to wait until then before we begin to experience Glorification. (see 2cor 3:18)

Here on earth the Glorification process is also referred to as sanctification (becoming more and more like Jesus, from Glory to Glory)- 2 cor 3:18One cannot be glorified without being justified and one cannot be justified without coming to God in Repentance and Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
