QWERTYUIOP is an entertaining story about 17-
year-old Lucy Beck, the new secretary at Rossand Bannisters, who struggles with herpredecessor over the secretarial position at thefirm. Lucy Beck counts herself lucky to get a jobas a secretary but she does not expect to have aghost as a rival. The former secretary, MissBroome, frightens away all the new secretarieswho come in to replace her. However, MissBroome is in for a surprise when she meets hermatch in Lucy. Although timid, Lucy manages totactfully handle Miss Broome. Communicatingthrough the typewriter, Lucy tries to convinceMiss Broome to leave.
