Volunteer Opportunity: Public Outreach and Event Coordinator Hobbitstee Wildlife Refuge is a growing, progressive, volunteer run, and charitable wildlife rehabiliation and education facility. We are currently seeking a Public Outreach and Event Coordinator to help us grow our educational program and improve our presence in the community. The successful candidate will work closely with the BOD to build on and expand the current programs already in place. We are looking to create an improved dynamic education program with an enthusiastic team of people as well as expand our presence in the community by organizing and/or be present at events. This opportunity is best suited for a self-motivated person who is creative and can think outside of the box. This person must have a passion for wildlife and habitat preservation. Educational and organizational background is an asset being likeminded on our philosophy on wildlife is a must. Qualifications: - Excellent communication skills - The ability to think outside of the box - Highly adaptable - Working well in a team as well as independent - Ability to lead a team - Ability to take direction - Organized - Proficient at doing oral presentations - Excellent interpersonal skills We do not offer financial compensation or salary for this position.
