• Housing prototype

– 8 industrial outdoor cabinets

• standard 19 inch racks

• 1.20 m high incl. socket

• 0.80 m wide

• 0.60 m deep

• All cabinets are equipped with

230 V AC outlet for hand tools and

task lighting

– 3 types of boxes for manual operation

• The prototype is an example of housing

to display the needs and requirements

• Opening and closing of cabinets and

boxes are logged by ALEX and monitored

by the Access Control System (TF+SD).

photos of boxes.

• The prototype

– Equipped to handle two tracks

• The LX control system supplier will be responsible for

– The housing

– Assembly of all components in the housing, unless other component contracts

prevent this

– Delivery to pilot LX sites

– Installation of housing at pilot LX sites

• Trafikverket will be responsible for

– Installation of external objects at pilot LX sites

• All information is subject to change before the RFQ is released

• Trafikverket is still in a silent period regarding ALEX and is unable to

• To prevent vandalism, a hatch of an external equipment such as a

barrier machine, should be lockable and be monitored by the access

control system in the same way as the cabinets and boxes
