1. ABOUT HTMHTM was founded in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1988 because of the need and the importance to get the Tourism Oriented Companies and Institutions communicated with the different markets in a fast, consistent, professional and efficient way.

2. WHAT DO WE DO

HTM develops and executes strategies of Marketing, Sales, P.R. and Publicity in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay.

Our clients are very happy with the results of our work. The majority of them work with us for many years.

We are innovative, creative, ambitious, business people, who know how to optimize our clients’ investments.

We position our clients and contribute to consilidate their reputation with all channels of interest.

Our services are given on a personal basis and we are associated with important P.R. and Advertising Companies in our markets.

Goals and objectives are reached according to clients’ statisfaction with an excellent relation with the media and with communication programs to construct an excellent image of the products we want to position in the marketplace.

We build up a good relationship with the community by being present at the Tradeshows, where the consumers have access, and through the media.

We have a constant relationship with Airlines interested to include our destinations in their route, facilitating the way our destinations can be reached by potential travelers.

Organize trips for Press and Travel Agents, Wholesalers, Operators and Meeting Planners to familiarize themselves with the product.

Prepare monthly newsletters to inform the market about what is new and/or emphasize on certain issues whenever this is necessary.

Prepare meetings to discuss crisis situations and/or controversial situations.

Analyze our competition on a constant basis to better position our products.

We can help giving excellent information to Destination Management Companies with regard to group business.

3. EXPERIENCE

For over 20 years we are helping our clients launching their products in our markets with roadshows, professional presentations and by assisting the different tradeshows and roadshows.

We give educationals to the staff of our clients so that they know how to best sell our products and destinations.

4. OUR TEAMCarmen Serrano, the Owner/Director, a graduate

in Business Administration with a Hotel Management and Sales and Marketing background, has more than 30 years of experience in tourism related business.

Carmen Serrano knows the South American, Caribbean and the U.S.A. market for over 30 years. She is very ambitious, works in a very professional way, loves challenges, is respectfully, innovative, has a lot of imagination, is creative and reaches the goals she sets in life.

Managed chain (Sheraton) and independent hotels in Aruba and St. Maarten. Handled incentive groups, Has a good knowledge of Time-share.

Represented the Divi Corp. with hotels in Aruba, Bonaire, Barbados, Bahamas, Antigua, Cayman Brac & St. Maarten in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay and is presently representing hotels and services in Aruba and Saint Martin.

Supervised the renovation of hotelrooms, public areas as well as the decoration of a time share hotel in St. Maarten.

Assisted her husband, Oscar Serrano, when he was the representative of the island of Aruba.

Managed to have the first charter land in Aruba on January o3rd, 1991. (Buenos Aires/Aruba/Buenos Aires with LADE airlines). This was a weekly flight from Jan 03rd, 91 until the end of February 1991. Unfortunately, because of the Gulf war, planes were needed to send soldiers over there.

Represented Air Aruba in Argentina and managed to get a permit to have 13 flights Aua/Bue/Aua during the high season (one every week) of 1992. Unfortunately this important achievement didn’t get off the ground because of the demands of the airline to have the wholesalers pay in advance the first and the last flight prior to commencing the operation, with no government support.

Represented the island of Curacao during 5 years. Because of change of the government and lack of funds for our market, had to close down the office. Changed the image of the island of Curacao, from being an island just for a one day shopping trip to a destination where stays of more nights were justified because of the abundance of attractions.

Signed a contract with the Tourism Office of Saint Martin as per September 01st, 2008 to represent them in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay. Contract is valid for one year.

Theo Maessen, Assistant, a graduate of Hargrave Military College, with a Business Administration background, is recently joining our team again. Possesses expansive experience in Communications, Sales and P.R. Has diplomatic attitude and good knowledge on how to handle exhaustive crisis situations. Knowledge of strategic planning and good relation with the Media and Clients

Oscar Serrano, because of his artistic background, has lots of connections with all Media, Press and T.V. Is able to get hundreds of thousands dollars worth of exposure of the island without actually spending a cent.

Exposure of the island by sending top designers with their models to the island to edit their different catalogues.

Grislyn Ferrer, with a degree in Communications is a very talented sales executive with extensive knowledge of the airline business.

Karina del Pozo, with a degree in Law, is a very charismatic professional, helping with the majority of the presentations in the cities of the interior; Rosario, Santa Fe, Cordoba and Mendoza.

4. OPINION

Is of the opinion that the island of ST. MAARTEN has so much to offer and so does the island of SAINT MARTIN, and if it is possible to combine efforts, as already done in some markets, this will only help increasing the flow of travelers to the island at a much lower cost, as expenses will be obviously shared.
