Transcript of Production of front cover screen shots
Production of front cover screenshots
By Niamh Doherty
The first thing I did when making my school magazine on Photoshop was changing the option to ‘international’ so that it made sure the page would be A4.
I then opened up this image that I took in the school corridor. Initially, I used an effect called ‘bevel and emboss’.
Next, I made the title of the magazine that reads’ The Corridor Gazette’ and then changed the size, font and colour to make it stand out. I then went on to use an effect called ‘outer glow’ which helps make the title stand out more.
I then went on to made cover lines and a little bit of information about each coverline underneath in a different colour.
Also, I went on to insert a picture which is about the article above.
I then went on to add a buzz word and a circle around it to attracts the audience attention to buy the magazine.
The final steps I did was create a main cover line and a bit of smaller information under it which tells the reader a bit about what the article is about.
