A measuring system in which the unit of measurement was made common for all parts and components.

In October 1913, ford introduce the idea of a MOVING ASSEMBLE LINE struck Ford when he was in on a tour of Chicago. This innovation reduced the cycle time of the task from 2.3 min to 1.19 min.In Jan 1914, ford designed an endless chain-driven conveyor to move the chassis more quickly from one workstation to another.

A short video on assembly line

Ford began working on pre-hardened mental that minimized distortion problems like twisting of the metal sheet during the imprinting of a die.Ford Cos 4 cylinder engine block comprised of a single, complete casting.Ford completely reversed the process, building up a complete automobiles in assembly line.In Oct 1913 , ford introduced moving assembly line concept in the park factory, bringing the car assembly line to the stationary worker. In Jan 1914, ford designed an endless chain driven conveyor to move the chassis more quickly from one workstation to another. In Jan 1914, 13000 ford employees manufactured 2,60,720 cars as against industry as a whole which employed 66,350 workers to produce 2,86,770 cars.By using vertical integration because mass-production techniques doubled every year during 1913-1923.

Henry ford motor company, and the assembly line showed traits of leadership and legacy because the assembly line made car production faster, added different parts to cars but it still being the same type of model, and it made cars cheaper.Henry ford showed signs of leadership because he paid his workers double the mount making them loyal to him and not leave the job and he helped them by making a sociological department in his factory.Sometimes funny, sometimes sharp and critical , these cartoons are entertaining in themselves.
