Life after death? The Egyptians believed in the afterlife, so most of the Pharaohs were buried after their

death in an Egyptian pirámide. In these pirámides the pharaohs were buried with their belongings.

The Egyptians believed the dark área of the night sky was the physical Gateway into heavens. So it is thought that the pyramid was built to help the deceased pharaoh’s soul to raise into the home of the gods.
