HOW TO GET THERE

By train The Flanders Meeting & Convention Center Antwerp is located only two minutes’ walk from Antwerp Central

Station. All information, timetables, and fares can be found on www.belgiantrain.be/en/

By air Antwerp airport is located only fifteen minutes outside the city centre, and is only a 20 minutes’ drive from

the venue. Antwerp airport offers direct flights to and from London. Visitors flying to Brussels International

Airport profit from a direct train connection to Antwerp Central Station. The train runs every 30 minute and

will approximate take 40 minutes.

By tram or bus Over twenty tram and bus routes stop within 250 metres from the Flanders Meeting & Convention Center

By car

NOTICE: The FMCCA is situated in a low emission zone (LEZ) which the city of Antwerp has reinforced in 2017

to enhance air quality. Since then, the most polluting vehicles will be banned from the city centre. Use the

online test to see if your car is allowed to enter the zone and demand a temporary permit or day pass if need

be.

Parking with discount

At Parking Station ZOO (formerly Nova) and Parking Breidel, visitors of the Flanders Meeting & Convention

Center Antwerp get a special discount.

Parking Station ZOO: visitors of the Flanders Meeting & Convention Center Antwerp pay €4 for a day ticket.

Parking Breidel: visitors of the Flanders Meeting & Convention Center Antwerp get a 50% discount on the

normal hourly rate.

A good number of car parks are available in the immediate vicinity of Flanders Meeting & Convention Center

Antwerp. Electronic signposts announce the location of car parks and free spaces (purple zone).

Advert specifications: Full page: border-to-border, 170 mm (w) x 240 mm (h) (+ 3 mm bleed, cropmarks)

Exhibition area, ground floor

General rules for exhibitors Maximum building height of stand is 3 meter. Always consider the sprinklers when constructing. All

constructions have to stay 60 cm clear from sprinkler heads

If you wish to build higher than 3 meters, please contact Mona Ibsgaard at [email protected] to

hear about the possibilities at your specific location at the exhibition area

The ceiling at the exhibition area is with an angle due to the concert hall on 1st floor. The highest

point is in front of the main entrance

Max. weight; point load 500 kg. In case of heavy materials it must be placed on a floor plate to

spread the weight

It is not allowed to use any double-sided tape, paint or screws etc. in the infrastructure

No wiring on the stands are allowed

DELIVERIES Please add the name of the congress, date, exhibitor’s name and booth number on all stand material

Packages can be delivered at the loading dock from Wednesday 11 September 2019 from 7 AM.Please contact DSV if you wish to deliver a package before the build-up date for the event. EBJIS2019co-operates with DSV who can deliver your items directly at the stand on-site

FMCCA cannot provide boxes, tape or plastic to wrap. All exhibitors have to provide this themselvesor book through DSV in advance

All the paperwork has to be done by the owner of the items or by DSV

FMCCA is not responsible for the loss of any item

Loading dock

After the conference, it will be possible to pick up the packages at the loading dock between 14:00-18:00 and on the day of build-up from 7:00 AM.

There are two loading docks so max. 2 companies can unload/ load at the same time.

The loading dock is fitted with electrical power and sanitary facilities

The elevated loading platform is located at 90 cm above the lorry-parking surface and includes twoloading bridges

Access from the loading platforms to the central hall is via the adjacent freight elevator, measuring 3m wide, 8 m long, and 4 m high with a maximum loading capacity of 6,500 kg

Exhibition equipment All sorts of equipment for your stand can easily be ordered through a web shop. EBJIS2019 co-operate with

Alter Expo www.alterexpo.com who will send log in information directly to all sponsors and exhibitors.

One waste bucket is included per stand.

The floor at the exhibition area is marble floor.

Electricity There will be one power plug (220 V) at each booth. In case you want to buy extra, please order this through

the Alter Expo web shop, see above information.

Wifi There is free Wi-Fi at the venue.

Storage It is not possible to store any items at the venue during the conference but storage can be ordered for an additional fee in advance by contacting Mona Ibsgaard at [email protected]

Catering External catering is not permitted at FMCCA but if you want to order any additional catering for your

industry symposium or for your stand this can be ordered by writing to Mona Ibsgaard at mi@cap-

partner.eu.

Small sweets & candy without waste are allowed.

scan the delegates QR-codes on their badges, the system makes it faster and easier to follow up on potential

clients during and after the conference.
