• Mughal Ruler , Muhammad Shah appointed Sadat Khan the governor of Awadh.

• Sadat Khan was very strong, he suppressed the rebellions

• Murhid Ali Khan –Was governor – Mughal• Later he began to rule independently• Capital – Murshidabad• Administrations
