Strong materialA Pioner is moulded in Polyethylene. The manufacturing method and the properties of this material give a particularly robust and durable boat. It is possible to drive a Pioner onto a beach or, in the unlikely event of an accident into a pier.

Minimal maintenancePioner boats need very little maintenance. This gives you the owner, more time to spend on the water and ”Easy boating”. If you should be unfortu-nate and have any damages to your Pioner, these can be fixed very easily.

Lifelong expectancyA Pioner boat will last generations. What makes this possible is a UV-stabilizer in the boat’s plastic material. Thanks to this UV-protection, the boat maintains its colour and material strength. The chosen materials in the boats are extremely corrosion resistant and all of the Pioner hulls are 100% corrosion proof.

StabilityAll Pioners are manufactured with double hulls. This makes a Pioner very stable on the water, even if there are some waves. The design of the hull gives stability which makes it easier to move around in the boat as well as embarking/disembarking.

SafetyAll Pioner models are quality controlled; approved and certificated by The Norwegian Veritas (DNV) as an independent third party. This gives Pioner boat owners quality assurance and confidence to enjoy their time on water.

Dark Line is this year’s news from Pioner!

If you need to use your boat for more commercial purposes then Pioner Dark Line is the answer to your prayers. Dark Line may not suit everybody, but if you seek a rugged and durable boat, combined with safety and stability, then this is for you. Dark line is made in a tough, durable and dyed material.

The Dark Line series consists of seven models; from the Pioner 13 up to the Pioner 17. All the models in this series come in charcoal grey and are marked with DARK LINE in our catalogue.

DESIGN AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENTTo offer our customers ”Easy boating” Pioner is centred around the development of new boats. Pioner’s development is focused mainly on development and the practical needs of our customers. Most of this development is done by a dedicated team at our factory in Bjørkelangen, Norway; with additional work carried out in partnership with accomplished external companies.

COMBINING TRADITION AND SAFETY WITH A MODERN DESIGN The Pioner 14 Active is our newest model. It combines classical lines and exceptional driver comfort with modern details and a beautiful finish.

Rope cleats have been integrated into the hull of the boat. A practical space on the port side is suitable for long objects, such as a boat hook and fishing rod. On the starboard side there is a space for smaller items, such as mobile telephones and wallets. The boat also has a battery area, space for a fuel tank under the stern thwart, and additional storage space under the middle thwart.

The boat has considerable buoyancy and high flooring, and is perfect for today’s 4-stroke engines.

A high freeboard allows you to remain dry and comfortable, even in the presence of waves. Pioner 14 Active is a spacious 14 foot boat for four people. Active boaters will gain a considerable amount of pleasure from this boat.

This has been the cornerstone of Pioner’s strategy, and we can safely say that our models are among the most robust and user friendly on the market. A good concept has been incorporated into new models that have been adapted to modern requirements and markets through innovation and new designs. This has always been done with a clear vision that a Pioner boat shall be robust, easy to own and visually attractive. In this way, Pioner has established itself as one of Europe’s most popular boats of all time.

Models

The directive governing recreational boats requires CE labelling on vessels that measure between 2.5 and 24 metres long aimed at the European market. CE labelling is a visual symbol that indicates the product has been assessed and manufactured in compliance with European requirements. CIPAX has engaged Det Norske Veritas (DNV) as an independent third party to check that these requirements were followed during the manufactur-ing of Pioner boats. All Pioner boats are certified by DNV as a supplement to CE labelling. This means that DNV has performed type testing of all the boat models and checked CIPAX’s quality control systems for the manu-facturing processes. DNV regularly checks that the manufactured sample models are identical to the type approved models.
