LANDSCAPELandscape view is used very often in photography and is one of the main types of photography. Landscape photography can be photos of nature or man-made views. The types of photographs can be vast and unending, but other times microscopic. The purpose of taking photos from a landscape point of view is to capture the majority of the image you are looking at. Landscape photos are mostly used to take pictures of nature and impressive views to capture most of it, whereas this type of photography is not used very often for man-made views and other subjects of pictures. Some very famous photographers use landscape often in their photography, for example, Ansel Adams, Andreas Gursky, Sebastiao Salgado and Galen Rowell. These photographers all used landscape views in their photos of nature, architecture etc.

PORTRAITPortrait is a very famous type of photography which has been around for years. It is a photograph of a person or a group of people’s faces to capture personality of a subject by using effective lighting, backdrops, and poses. Portraits are often used for special occasions, like weddings, birthdays etc, they can also come in handy for a personal website. Portrait photography is the most popular type of photography and most commonly used for everyone. The purpose of portrait photography is to focus on the persons face and bring emphasis to their face using the right light and backdrops. However, the persons body and background can still be included in the photo. There are many famous portrait photographers, such as, Steve McCurry, Lee Jeffries, Jimmy Nelsson and Rehahn. All these photographers take portrait photographs of many people.

NATURENature photography is a type of photography that refers to a wide range of photos taken outdoors. Which mainly displays natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants, and close-ups of natural scenes and textures. Nature photography tends to put a stronger emphasis on the aesthetic value of the photo than other photography genres, such as photojournalism and documentary photography. These types of photographs are mainly taken and used for books, magazines, scientists, tourists, journalists etc. Nature is one of the most popular types of photography and one of the most common by society because it is all around us and it is beautiful and every bit of it is different to the rest. Some of the most popular nature photographers are,  Frans Lanting, Galen Rowell, Mark Gray, Eliot Porter and Art Wolfe.

ARCHITECTURE Architectural photography is photographs of buildings and similar structures that are both aesthetically pleasing and accurate representations of their subjects. Architectural photographers are usually skilled in the use of specialized techniques and equipment. This type of photography is usually used to advertise and show society their buildings. Some of the most famous architectural photographers are, Tim Rawles, Andrew Prokos, and Helene Binet.
