Photography Planning

For my Front cover the main image will be of 3 young males dressed in very rock and roll type out fits, skinny jeans, baggy t shirt, converse or vans type shoes. This type of look will match the style of the magazine. I have decided to shoot in the studio and use props for most of my images as well to give it a fun, young feel to appeal to the young target audience so for the main image I will be using balloons as props.

For the other two images on the front cover I will have an image of a male and a female again dressed in rock and roll outfits, Dark colours and for their shoot I will be using silly string again shooting in the studio. The other image is of a young female solo artist, no props used to give off an innocent and professional feel to her look, again dressed in dark rock and roll clothing.

Contents

For the contents page I have decided to use the same set of 3 males, dressed the same with same props. Then another image of two males and a female, similarly dressed but using party poppers as props this time, these images will be very friendly giving a sense of closeness within the group, adding to the legitimacy of the group. The third image is a young male solo artist, no props similar to solo female artists to give professional look.

Double Page Spread

For the double page spread I will be using the same male and female models as I did on the front cover and using two images from their shoot, and one of their album cover. The images of the models will be playful and fun. But the use of the album image will make the article more legitimate and authentic.
