Team members wearing a visor while preparing food may be required to wear a hairnet. b. If a uniform is worn during a meeting or training sessions, the hat or visor does not have to be worn. B. Only approved, Domino’s Pizza logo knit hats may be worn. The knit cap may only be worn by delivery personnel during cold weather. a. Cold weather to be defined as the delivery personnel must also be wearing pants and a jacket. C. The only head covering that may be worn under the uniform or incentive hat is a hairnet or a do-rag. The do-rag must be solid black and have no markings, patterns or logos of any kind. The do-rag cannot have a tie that is longer than the bottom of the neck. D. Any other head covering may not be worn without prior written approval from Domino’s Pizza LLC, as Master Servicer. E. Incentive hats must meet the following criteria: a. Incentive messages cannot be placed on the bill of the hat or on the front two panels of the hat where the Domino’s logo is embroidered. b. Incentive messages can only be embroidered or contained on patches placed on the side or back of the hat. c. Approved incentive pins are allowed on the side, front or back panels of the hat and on the shirt collar only. PANTS, SHORTS, SKIRTS AND CAPRIS A. Pants, shorts, skirts and capris must be black in color. B. Pants, shorts, skirts and capris must be of a permanent press or cotton-type material, free from any decorative applications or embroidery applications, properly hemmed, clean, neat, and free of rips or tears. a. Permanent press or cotton-type material does not include denim, corduroy, “stretch,” “yoga,” or sweatpant material or style. C. Cargo pants are acceptable, providing they meet the same requirements listed above. D. Shorts are to have minimum inseam of 6" (15 cm) and/or be no longer than 2" (5 cm) below the knee. E. Skirts and capris may be worn by female team members only. a. Skirts are to be no shorter than 2" (5 cm) above the top of the knee cap. F. Capris should be below the knee and above the ankle in length. G. The waistband of pants, shorts and capris must sit at the natural waistline. SHOES / SOCKS All shoes worn by team members must cover the entire foot. A. If the shoe has laces, the laces must be tied. B. Shoes must be in good repair and have nonslip soles (franchise only) or slip resistant shoes (Team USA only). C. Slip resistant footwear is identified by a marking on the sole of the shoe that reads slip resistant, oil resistant, anti-slip or similar wording. D. Shoes displaying toes or the shapes of toes are NOT permitted. E. Socks or hose must be worn. F. When medical reasons require, an appropriate alternative may be approved. FACIAL HAIR A. Team members are permitted to maintain facial hair up to one (1) inch (2.5 cm) in length that is clean and neatly trimmed. This is not an excuse to randomly neglect shaving. Team members must appear neatly groomed at all times. B. Daily shaving is a requirement. When choosing to grow facial hair it is recommended that the first several days of growth is started while on days off or vacation. C. While growing any facial hair, clean shaving lines must be maintained until the desired outcome is achieved. D. Team members may be required to wear a beard net or beard snood while preparing food. E. Team members may request an accommodation on beard length for religious/cultural reasons. SHIRT A. Only a Domino’s Pizza-approved shirt may be worn as part of the uniform. a. All shirts must be neat, clean, unwrinkled, and free of rips or tears. b. Shirts may not be faded, frayed, or washed out and should fit properly. B. All uniform shirts must be tucked in. C. It is required that women’s shirts for female team members are offered. D. The following are the only approved shirt options for store personnel. No other shirts or combinations may be worn. The franchisee will determine if his/her store team members are standardized in one uniform style or if they have a variety of uniform styles within the store. a. Approved shirts are the management polo, team member polo and crew neck. b. Approved special promotional shirts are also allowed to be worn until otherwise specified. c. Current Domino’s Gear may be discontinued and new Domino’s Gear items added from time to time. APRONS A. Only approved Domino’s Pizza aprons should be worn in-store. B. Any team members involved in food preparation must wear an approved apron. C. Aprons must be laundered before each shift. D. Aprons, in the production area and back of house, must be worn full length and tied. E. Aprons may not be worn outside the store. NAME TAGS Name tags are optional. If name tags are to be worn in a store, they must be visible on the shirt, vest, jacket or apron. Name tags must be worn on the right side of the garment. No fictitious or humorous names may be used. TATTOOS A. Tattoos should be tasteful and non-offensive in nature. B. Tattoos must not be on the face, neck or hands as these areas can’t be covered with our current uniform components. C. Team members should make every reasonable effort to cover tattoos that are visible during the shift: for example, wearing pants if a team member has leg tattoos or a long sleeve undershirt if the team member has arm tattoos. D. Exceptions will be made for traditional military affiliation tattoos that are non-offensive in nature. HAIR A. Hair longer than top of uniform shirt collar must be secured under the cap or be suitably restrained; e.g. hairnet or rubber band. Restrained hair that is not tucked under hat must be restrained behind the shoulders. Dyed hair in unnatural colors (green, pink, blue, etc.) and extreme hair styles will not meet standards. B. If the appearance of hair is ragged and not reasonably trimmed, and gives the impression of being unkempt, it does not meet standards. UNDERSHIRTS / SWEATSHIRTS A. Any shirt visible under the uniform shirt must be white or black in color, knit-type structure, with no visible print or decorations. The current crewneck shirt may also be worn under any Domino’s Gear shirt. B. The undershirt can be crew neck, v-neck or turtleneck. C. The undershirt must be tucked in. D. The undershirt sleeves may be of any length and must be cuffed or hemmed. E. If a team member is wearing long sleeves while on the makeline, the sleeves must be rolled or folded up to the elbow. JACKETS (HEAVYWEIGHT, MID-WEIGHT AND LIGHTWEIGHT) A. The only jackets or vest worn while on duty are those approved by Domino’s Pizza. B. All jackets may be worn by all team members while on duty and in an approved Domino’s Pizza uniform. BELTS A. All team members wearing pants, shorts or skirts with belt loops must wear a belt. B. All belts worn must be black. C. There will be no decorative buckles worn on belts. D. Suspenders are not allowed. WATCHES A. All team members who deliver product can wear an inexpensive, properly working watch. B. A watch presented as a Domino’s Pizza, as Master Servicer incentive may be worn. GLOVES A. Gloves, when worn, will be of a solid color and must be clean and in good repair. B. See Store Operations: Bicycles, Clothing section for standards applying to gloves used while delivering by bicycle or moped. A clear tongue retainer with no graphics may be worn while at work in place of the tongue ring only. D. Grommets/gauges must be removed and replaced with a flesh colored plug.
