How do you score points in soccer? By kicking or heading the ball into the goal. Each time you score it is worth one point.

What is a hat trick? When one player scores 3 goals in a game.

How many players does each team have? 11

What are the different positions the players play? Offense: Forwards who do most of the scoring.Midfielders: play offense and defense.Defenders: Fullbacks, sweepers and center backs. Try to keep the ball out of their end.Goalkeeper: The only player allowed to use his hands.

What are some of the rules of the game? Answers here will vary, depending on how much research you want to do.1) A match has 2 45 minute halves with a 15 minute halftime in between.2) You can not touch the ball with your hand unless you are the goalkeeper.3) A player does a throw in when the ball has passed out of the field through the sidelines.4) A corner kick or goal kick is taken when the ball has passed out of the field through the end zone. If the offense kicks it out, it is a goal kick. If the defense kicks it out, it is a corner kick.5) If a referee calls a foul (too aggressive play) or a handball then there will be a direct or indirect kick.
