Each delegate is issued with a complete set of the presentations covering the topics discussed. This course is presented as an introductory course on slurry pumping and pipeline systems with the aim of providing delegates with a thorough overview of the various applications of slurry pipelines in the mining industry, as well as a basic understanding of the requirements for a successful slurry pipeline system. Objectives The course is presented by Paterson & Cooke in conjunction with Mr George Nieuwoudt of Raubicon Engineers and Project Managers. Presenters Course Introduction P&C is a worldwide leader in the design and engineering of slurry systems that include long distance slurry pipelines and conventional and high density tailings systems. Our expertise includes on-site process audits and upgrades, design of mine backfill systems, as well as the development and supply of specialised process equipment. Slurry pipelines are commonly used to transport mineral concentrates and ores and are replacing conventional bulk materials transport options such as road and rail. Paterson & Cooke began offering a four-day course in 1995 on the design of slurry pipeline systems, that has since been attended by more than 1500 delegates, and the course has long been the industry benchmark. Fees The course fee is NAD 6 000 per person. We will issue an invoice which is payable within30 days. A cancellation fee of 25% will be charged for written cancellations received before 16 January 2017. No fees will be refunded under any circumstances for cancellations afterthis date.
