Towards 95-95-95 Goals
5 engaging interactive training activities from the Global Award winning Bridges of
Hope programme (with set of masks and colour
illustrated facilitators guide) to clearly explain and
motivate:
• HIV Testing
• How ART works, and how non-adherence
can result in treatment failure
• Adherence to ART and to TB treatment,
TB/HIV co-infection
• Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission
of HIV (PMTCT)
• Acceptance and support for those living
with HIV (Stigma activity)
“These activities break down very complicated explanations to convey a message to
participants in a way that is clear and unforgettable.” Prosperine Zulu, Zambia
“The participants had fun and games while at the same time undergoing life-
changing experiences.” Dawne Jackson, Wellness Coordinator, Nelson Mandela
Bay Municipality, South Africa
Participants with masks
enact What can happen in

adapted and incorporated into the
national condom training
curriculum, have proved to be
highly useful, e.g. Chewing Gum,

have enhanced the values
clarification, condom negotiation

• Box container (with client’s logo for 20+ units)
• BROWN or BLUE (blue for ethnically diverse groups, or
where a less realistic colour is more acceptable)
• 18cm long, “FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY” on base
• “Ejaculates” (optional) by pressing the base of the E-Shaft,
using water or a synthetic cream (e.g. floor cream.) This
clarifies the importance of expelling air from the condom
teat, and enables practice removing and disposing of the
condom without touching the semen. The waxy surface
makes it easy to slide off the male condom.
