Encompassing 320 acres in northwest Washington, Kanaskat-Palmer State Park is a wetland home to vast varieties of plant, bird and wildlife. The park offers a natural forest setting, fishing and picnicking opportunities and is known for expert-level whitewater river rafting and kayaking recreation.

Outside each yurt is a picnic table, fire grill, utility hookup and deck accessible to people with disabilities. Bathrooms and showers are nearby. A group camp with accommodations for 20-80 guests is located near the park’s campground area. The camp includes restrooms, showers, two Adirondacks (three-sided sleeping shelters), eight standard tent campsites and picnic shelter. RVs are not permitted in the group camp.
