THANKSGIVING DINNER DONATIONSIf you are out shopping and see any sales for donationsneeded for our annual Thanksgiving Home AloneDinner, the collection will take place starting theweekend of November 5/6. Items needed are Stove TopStuffing, Instant Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Corn,Cranberries, Canned Sweet Potatoes, Saurkraut, andTurkey Gravy. ALL SOULS NOVENA OF MASSESBeginning on November 2 through November 10, wewill celebrate a Novena of Masses for our dear departedloved ones. All Souls Novena envelopes can be found

ALL SAINTS’ DAY MASSMass will be celebrated on All Saints’ Day, Tuesday,November 1 at 8:00 AM & 7:00 PM in the Church.All Saints’ Day is a Holy Day of Obligation and we
encourage everyone to join usin the celebration of theSaints, and to ask for theirprayers and intercessions. Theparish office will be closed forthe Holy Day.
PARISH REGISTRATIONWe strongly encourage those who participate regularlyin the life of our Faith Community to register with usand to use the envelopes. For those who wish to makeSt. Casimir their parish family with future plans tocelebrate a baptism, a wedding or obtain a letter to be agodparent or sponsor, it is necessary to be formallyregistered and actively participating on a regularbasis for at least three months before dates can be set
or letters can bewritten. Registrationforms can be found inthe vestibule of theChurch or on ourwebsite.
BAPTISM INFORMATIONThe next celebration of Baptism is Sunday, November20, 2016 at 11:30 AM . Class will be held on Sunday,November 13 following the 10:00 AM Mass in theChurch. Current registered members of the FaithCommunity who are interested in having their childrenbaptized should call the parish office early to makearrangements. Baptism guidelines can be found in thechurch vestibule on the information board or by visitingour website, www.stcasimir.org.
Next Baptism Date: December 11, 2016 andclass will be held on December 4. December Baptismdate is early due to the Christmas Season.
ARE YOU OR IS SOMEONE YOU KNOWINTERESTED IN THE CATHOLIC FAITH?
We invite you to learn what the Church teaches, and beintroduced to some of our parish members. Thesesessions are also opportunities for you, and others thatyou may wish to invite, to ask questions that you mayhave about the Church. These gatherings are forinquirers and are open to adults who have not yetcelebrated the sacrament of baptism, baptized Christianswho wish to explore entering into full communion withthe Catholic Church, baptized Catholics who have notcelebrated first communion and/or confirmation, andCatholics who would like to update themselves abouttheir faith.

NON SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMIf you have a child not attending a Catholic School andare in Grades K-8, please register them in the ReligiousEducation Program for 2016-2017. This program willteach them about Jesus and the Catholic Church and it’steachings. Classes are on the first Sunday of the monthat 11:00 AM in the Cupertino Center.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAYThank you for your generous response to the Society forthe Propagation of the Faith last weekend on WorldMission Sunday. While some go to serve in othercountries to develop the church and serve its people, allof us are called to pray and support the Missions fromright where we live. ARCHDIOCESE OF MILITARY SERVICESNext week our parish will take up the Collection for theArchdiocese for the Military Services. They rely solelyon private donors in support of its mission, “Servingthose who serve” and its ministry to provide the samepastoral care and services to Catholics serving in theUnited States Armed Forces, enrolled in US MilitaryAcademies, undergoing treatment at any of the 153Department of Veterans Affairs’ Medical Centers,working in civilian jobs for the federal governmentbeyond US borders, and the families of thesepopulations, as does any other Catholic diocese. Whilethe salaries and retirement of Catholic military chaplainsare paid for by the US Government, the AMS receivesno funding from government or the military for its
