Puppy Relays Puppy Relays are scheduled for Friday, May 18. Mr. DeBoer has done some initial organizing and a schedule is attached to this newsletter. We will also be having a PTO sponsored lunch on that day available for parents. Students will be served school lunch on that day.

MCA Testing Completed Thanks to all students and parents in grades 3-5 for their cooperation and work in completing MCA tests over the past 3 weeks. Preliminary test scores were sent home with students. Final test scores and school wide results will be officially released in August.

National Teacher Appreciation Next week will be National Teacher Appreciation Week. We are thankful for all of our teaching staff and their dedication towards helping students learn. Please take time next week to thank a teacher and let them know how important they are to our students!

Yearbooks Sent Home Yearbooks will be sent home today for students that pre-ordered. If you feel that you ordered a yearbook and did not receive one please contact Mrs. Moore. A limited amount of extra yearbooks are for sale for $16. If you would like to purchase a yearbook please contact Mrs. Moore or the elementary office.

End of the Year Field Trips End of the year field trips are beginning next week. Please check with classroom teachers if you have specific questions concerning field trips. Next week the field trip will be our First Grade students. They are going to the Children’s Museum in Brookings.

Jump Rope for Heart Over the past month, students participated in the Jump Rope for Heart program. The program raises funds for the American Heart Association and promotes healthy life habits among students. Students from H-BC raised $4,403 total dollars for the program. Great job students and thanks to Mr. DeBoer for organizing and promoting the program.
