In 1930 my father began a carpentry shop in Meiste, Germany. His inventiveness and high expectations of the quality of craftsmanship in his products were the seed from which our present-day company developed. A few growth rings later we now offer comprehensive product systems for floors, walls and ceilings. We are firmly rooted in our market. And we continue to be guided by my father's principles, such as respect for our natural resources - for example at MEISTER we never use tropical woods. And we take care to preserve resources in the processing of the materials.

Added to this is the responsibility we feel for the place where we work. MEISTER's production is one hundred percent German. For decades we have been the dependable workplace for many families in our region. And we are investing in the future with apprenticeships and

professional development, new production techniques and continuous improvement in our product range. These are yet more reasons why we have grown so consistently and so continuously.

Our decades of experience and this special sense of responsibility result in products which combine the highest quality, best comfort levels and a good conscience. We all trust in this here at MEISTER. And you can trust in it when you use a MEISTER product in your home.

When, in the future, I hand over responsibility for the company to my son and my long-standing colleagues I know that they will continue to develop the company and I can be sure that they will continue to breathe new life into my father's principles.

Black or white magnetic elements quickly transform your decorative wall into a functional panel. You can simply pin up your notices using magnets.

Base element

The base element is a square plastic frame to which the elements shown below can quickly and easily be fixed to. It is screwed to the substructure to create a sturdy base.

Decorative elements

The decorative elements have different patterns on the front and back. They can be changed over in a couple of simple moves. This means that you can always create new looks quickly and effectively. An element covered with ready-to-paint primer film on both sides opens up a huge range of possibilities for design accents: you can finish it anyway you want.

A frame for the room

Characteristic design features of this collection are the elegant heads on the fitting screws and the square shape of the individual elements. Simple installation and the option of quickly changing the elements makes these system panels incredibly flexible.

Brilliantly practical.The ideal wall and ceiling design combines functionality with good looks. SP 400

provides impressive confirmation of this fact. Elegant decors, unusual structures and

exclusive real wood surfaces make for particular highlights. Aluminium rails which

can be integrated between the panels make it possible to add hooks, shelves and

other accessories. An electrically conductive version of these rails also permits

individual lighting solutions. This means that you can realise design ideas that are

great to look at and intelligent at the same time.

Rails with and without electricity

You will love the modern design of SP 400 as well as its practical applications. If the integrated quick installation tongue is replaced by a rail the result is a functional wall which can be used for shelving, pictures, clothes hooks and much more besides. The shelving rails are also available in an electrically conductive version. These rails can be used for lighting as well as shelving etc.

Life in 3D.Walls can be transformed - and SP 300 system panels do it in an extraordinary

way. Thanks to the double groove on each element as well as their three

different widths these panels can be used to create astounding 3-D effects

which can be emphasised further by light falling from the side. The wall

becomes a relief which effectively emphasises the atmosphere of a room.

"Why MEISTER sometimes thinks outside the box."

MEISTER's list of innovations is long. Over 200 registered patents and registered designs demonstrate how good we are at coming up with new ideas. We invented the integrated sound-absorbing cushion and thus quiet flooring. The HDF middle layer gives our floors more stability and helps to preserve valuable stocks of real wood. The Masterclic Plus installation technology with patented end locking system makes it possible to carry out simple floating installations of our floors without full surface bonding. All of this has set the standard for the whole sector.

But this is not enough for us. Our inventive spirit never sleeps. This, too, is a part of our company's long tradition. Innovation means doing old things in new ways. This is what I demand when developing new products, new systems and new designs. If we want to stay as we are, we have to constantly change.

Sometimes a very simple idea is all it takes: for example, we wanted to provide an extra long laminate plank with no repetition in the decor. This is the only way that they can look absolutely genuine and nevertheless be affordable for a large number of customers. With the ordinary print layouts, however, this could not be done. Others may have been satisfied with this. We simply changed from printing lengthways to crossways.

Why are we always thinking of something new? Because we have a particularly creative and well-trained team. Because we are never satisfied with the first solution that comes to mind. Because we think outside the box in order to develop new ideas. Because we trust in our own abilities and because we love our products.

We use only selected veneers with a particularly beautiful veneer finish.

Get out there and experience nature with all your senses. We wish this not only for you but for all the generations

to come as well. When choosing our materials, we believe it is vital that they come from environmentally friendly

sources. We then turn them into products of an extremely high quality using modern production processes which

are constantly monitored and improved. This is how we got the first Blue Angel for our panel collections in 1993.

Practical, whichever way you look at it.MEISTER panels and panel systems are attractive and easy to live with. Their insulating properties

mean that they also have a positive effect on the acoustics and climate in a room. Eight of our

eleven collections are suitable for installation in humid rooms. And you will love our real wood

panels with their high-quality and painstakingly finished veneers.

Suitable for use in humid rooms

All MEISTER decorative panels are suitable for use in humid rooms. This means that with a suitably ventilated substructure they can be installed in the bathroom as well as in household kitchens. Combined with splash-proof MEISTER lighting a range of ceiling design options can be created. The decorative panels in the Terra family have Terragen base boards and Terracell surfaces which combine to provide effective protection against mould. These panels should not be used in areas which come into direct contact with splashing water, e.g. around the wash basin or in the shower.

Heat resistance when used with recessed lighting

The high quality of the materials and the care taken in manufacture mean that all MEISTER panels and panel systems are suitable for use with recessed lighting. This applies for all lights bearing the VDE and ENEC test labels.

Real wood veneer with UV acrylic varnish surface

The applied varnish seal consisting of formaldehyde-free, UV-hardened and solvent-free acrylic varnish makes our system panels and panels with real wood veneers easy to maintain and environmentally friendly.

Terracell surface

You can hardly tell Terracell apart from a real wood surface, either in looks or texture. It is water and steam resistant which means that all panels covered with Terracell are extremely easy to maintain, durable and resistant to damage as well as being washable and suitable for humid rooms.

Decorative film surface

A complex process is used to print the decorative films for these panels. Only after the film has passed through the print system three times does it achieve a surface that meets our requirements and ensure a high level of surface material colour stability.

Top-quality from MEISTER, the masters.Surface finishes such as Terracell or real wood veneers with acrylic varnish ensure that our

system panels and panels look good, will last a long time and are easy to care for. Terracell

surfaces combined with the Terragen base board also have a proven anti-mould effect.

MDF E1 base board

MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) offers a high level of structural stability and also makes it possible to rout out precise tongue and groove joints. MEISTER’s MDF E1 base boards with real wood veneers or decorative films comply with the lowest possible emissions limits.

Terragen base board

The MDF base material “Terragen” was developed exclusively for us for use in our highest quality panels. Terragen are the first MDF boards on the market bonded using natural resin and are bonded exclusively with natural resins found in the wood itself. MEISTER does not use any other form of glue. Panels made with Terragen are suitable for installation in humid rooms. Independent test centres confirm: our Terragen board is practically formaldehyde-free.

Convincing inner values.

The right base board is decisive for the final quality of MEISTER panels. It provides the

required stability and service life and ensures that you can enjoy your redesigned wall

or ceiling for many years to come.

One of the great things about the SP 500 collection is the functional elements. It is just as easy to insert a magnetic element in black or white as it is a blackboard (Black 4037 | decor), for which we recommend the Edding 725 dry-wipe pen.

Boxes, boards or pictures

SP 400 functional elements are not the only things that can be hung on the aluminium shelving rails. Your own pictures, boxes or boards can become a part of your wall design, all they need is a Universal Plate Type 2 on the back. Just hang it up - creating and changing your very own wall is child’s play.

They are practical and they always look good: internal and external corners in plastic join mouldings without complicated mitre joints. There are eight colours to choose from.

Fixing clips

The ceiling edging is simply pushed into place using the practical clips. This means that it is easy to remove, making it easier to redecorate with paint or wallpaper in the future. The clips can be screwed into the wall or ceiling.

Design frame and insert profile

Design frames are available for all surfaces in the Madera 200, Terra Senza 200 and Bocado 200 collections and can be inserted between the panel ends by means of tongue and groove joints. The frames are suitable for the creative box, insert profi les and LED panel lights. All design elements are easily interchangeable.

Design square 200

The Bocadino Design square 200 range is suitable for use in humid rooms and with eight modern colours provides fascinating accents. Other RAL colours are also available on request. LED recessed light

Our FLAT recessed lights really shine with their compact size and only 7mm installation depth. The FLAT mini is so small that it can be installed in a clip-on skirting board. Four easily interchangeable colour films provide variety and are also suitable for printed designs such as logos. You can operate 20 FLAT or ECO lights connected in series from one transformer. There is easily enough space for this in an existing recessed socket and no extra drilling is required.

The MEISTER-Tronic transformer: an intelligent solution for all compo-nents. Our exclusive MEISTER-Tronic transformer is just 19mm thick, so it is ideal for panelled ceilings with a sub-structure depth of ≥20mm. The special shape of the transformer and its low height mean it can be installed and removed through an opening of at least 59mm. The MEISTER-Tronic can be dimmed using a phased dimmer. Its soft-start feature helps your bulbs last longer.

2m: the continuous, plug-in connection system and the low-voltage exten-

sion cables make installation easy, and no tools are required. You can use a

maximum of 2m of extension cable between the light and the transformer, for

example the MEISTER low-voltage extension cable (2m).

Thanks to the specially developed through-wiring system, MEISTER high-voltage lights can be combined with the low-voltage lighting system. The plug-in system ensures a secure connection. You can connect up to 25 lights in a lighting circuit. To bridge smaller or larger distances between lights, use the high-voltage connection cable.

The innovative junction box: starting from here, you can easily assemble the

entire lighting system using the ready-to-install plug-in system. The combina-

tion of connection possibilities, using either through-wiring or installation wiring

(up to NYM-J 5 × 1.5) is unique. It gives you creative freedom when planning and

installing your lighting system.

The plug-in system always ensures a perfect, safe connection despite the

LED downlights

The 5 watt LED downlights have a brightness equivalent to that of a 20 watt halogen light. This means they can be used for main lighting or accent lighting. Since they are splash-proof they can also be used in humid rooms or covered outdoor areas. High-voltage energy-saving recessed lights

High-voltage halogen lights provide particularly cosy lighting and are space-saving, too. In contrast to low-voltage halogen lights they do not need a transformer but can simply be connected to the mains power supply. The secure plug-in system

Thanks to the specially developed through-wiring system, MEISTER high-voltage lights can be combined with the low-voltage lighting system. The plug-in system ensures a secure connection. Installation tools

Tools designed especially for use with LED recessed lights make it easier to achieve precise installation.

Remote control

The remote control is designed to go perfectly with the MEISTER lighting system and is suitable for use with MEISTER’s low-voltage and high-voltage halogen systems. It consists of only two components: a remote-control handset and a radio receiver. The receiver is plugged into the lighting system and installed invisibly behind the panels. This means that there is no visual disruption of your ceiling design as with ordinary infrared systems. You can use the handset to not only turn the lights on and off from any position in the room but also to dim them. One single handset can be used to control up to four different recei-vers. A particular advantage of the radio receiver: you can operate the lights using the available wall switches as well as the handset. When using the radio receiver, ensure that the dimmer switch output on the dimmable lights is between 20 and 210 watt (or if using additional radio receivers: below 420, 630, 840 watt etc.). The receiver can be retrofitted or removed through an opening of at least 59mm.
