What is a Gerund?

• A gerund in a NOUN made from a verb. To make a gerund, you add “ing” to the verb.

Noun: שם עצם Verb: פועל

In the sentence:

“I swim every day”

“swim”

Where is the verb in the

• An infinitive is the basic form of the verb + “to”.
