- Each site is identified by a unique 3 character code- Central Administration Site (CAS) is for reporting and

management only- Hierarchy – Multiple sites that communicate with

each other



- CAS- Optional- Required when need for multiple primary sites- Used for reporting and management- Does not process client data & does not manage

client- Support up to 400,000 clients



- Primary Site- Required- Can be installed as Stand-Alone or child of a CAS- Used to manage clients- Replicate data to CAS (if part of a hierarchy)- Support up to 100,000 clients



- Secondary Site- Optional- Must be a child of a Primary Site- Used to control network bandwidth- Replicate client data to primary site- Do not support client assignment- Act as a proxy for primary site
