In this issue we decided to publish all our work that

has to do with ARTas a means of expression. So, you

will read about the films we watched, the songs we

sang, the paintings we produced, the stories and the

poems we wrote and generally what made us have fun

and express our artistic feelings in English.

Once more, I would like to congratulate on and thank

all of my students for their enthusiasm, their ideas and

all the great moments we spent together.

FILMS

I think the story was beautiful

but sad. Many people were

crying during the film. I would

like to have a dog like Hachi.

Hachi was loyal to his owner and

he was the star of the movie. He

was an Akita. Mr Parker found

him in a train station. The storyhappened in 1923. What

impressed me most was that the

film was based on a true story.

PHILIP , 6TH

GRADE

Yesterday we saw a film. Its

title was Hachiko. In the

beginning Parker Wilson

finds a puppy and he takes it

home. When Parker goes to

the train station to leave for

work, Hachi escorts him.When the train is back, the

dog is waiting for his

master. That happens every

day. But one day, Parker

didnt come back. Hachi was

waiting for him for 9 years.

I liked the dog and his

cleverness. Gere is a good

actor. I suggest this film to

everybody.

FABIO, 6THGRADE

The film was great and so

interesting. The dog starring in

the film was an Akita. When it

was a puppy it was very sweet.

I cried at the end when Parker

and Hachi met again after

Hachis death. I would love to

have a dog like that.

ASIMINA , 6THGRADE

I liked the film very much. It was

funny when Parker played with the

dog and his wife didnt want to keep

him. It was a very good film.

Yesterday we watched a

movie with my English

teacher, Ms Vasso. The title

was Hachiko. It was perfect

and I was very moved.

Hachiko is an Akita and I

would like to have a dog like

that. I was very sad when

Mr Parker died. Hachiko is

my favourite hero and when

I get a dog I want him to be

like Hachi.

The movie was very touching.

The most touching moment

was when Parker died and

Hachi returned to the train

station every day. Hachi was a

very beautiful dog. The movie

was nice and I would like to

see a second movie like that.

EVAGGELIA, 6TH

Yesterday we watched a movie

about a dog with Ms Vasso. It

was a very touching film. I liked

the movie not for the touching

moments but mostly for the dogs

loyalty and the kindness of this

man.

The film was great. What

impressed me most was the dog

starring. If I had a dog, I would

like it to be like Hachi. The film

was so moving and I want to

watch it again.

Because Hazel felt that she was reading about her life

Because the story of Anna, the little girl in the book, was

like her story and she thought she was reading about her

Why did Gus smokewithout lighting up the cigarette? What

did he want to show?

Because he thought that in this way he could beat

He wanted to show that he could beat death. He put the

cigarette in his mouth but he didnt give it the power to

LUCKY TO FIND EACH OTHER

Once upon a time there was a boy called Nathan.

Nathans family had financial problems and they

decided to move to their village to have a better life.

At first, Nathan didnt like it. He missed his friends

and everything was wrong. Little by little, he thought

that he should make an effort to change and discover

the beauties of the village. So, he decided to go for

walks to explore the nature nearby.

One evening, while he was walking in the forest, he sawsomething under some leaves. It was a little dog. It

was dirty but it looked so cute. It seemed hungry and

in need of help. When the little dog saw Nathan, it

tried to stand up but it fell immediately. Nathan

understood that there was a problem. The little dogs

leg was broken and it really hurt. That moment Nathan

realized that this dog would be his friend forever.A few years ago, while Nathan was riding his bike, a car

came very fast and hit the little boy. The accident was

very serious and Nathan was in great danger. He went

to the hospital and the doctors decided that either his

leg should be cut off or Nathan would die. His parents

didnt want to lose their son so there was no option.

The boys leg was cut off. Nathan had a lot of difficult

moments but he finally got better with a new

prosthetic leg.

Seeing the wounded dog, Nathan thought of his own

adventure and he was touched. He almost burst intotears. He immediately knew that he had to save the

little dog. He carried it all the way back home and

when he got to his parents, they drove to the nearest

veterinary clinic. The dogs leg could not be healed.

The bones were smashed and it needed an operation.

The family didnt have enough money, though. They

couldnt afford it after spending so much money on

Nathans health. Something had to be done.

The little boy could not find peace. He could not leave

his new friend without help. And then he came up with

an idea. He posted a letter on his blog explaining the

situation and the miracle happened. A lot of people

read the post and decided to give enough money forthe little dogs operation and treatment.

After a few months, with the love of Nathan and his

family, the dog managed to be well and healthy and

could walk around without serious problems. Nathan

thought that the most suitable name for his dog was

Lucky as it was lucky to be found and saved.

Nathan and Lucky lived happily together for manyyears and they became best friends forever.

A family of mice were surprised by a big cat. Father

Mouse jumped and and said, "Bow-wow!" The cat ran

away. "What was that, Father?" asked Baby Mouse.

"Well, son, that's why it's important to learn a second

language."

Patient: Doctor! You've got to help me! Nobody ever

listens to me. No one ever pays any attention to what I

have to say.
