Those who are looking forward to enjoying mobility and sociabilityinto mature age do not want to be hindered by physical restrictions.This places particular demands on incontinence briefs. High-performing peel and shear features, easy handling, and the option to refasten the closure tabs without any problems are high on the list of requirementsin a perfect closure system.

However, the blend of comfort and inconspicuousness is at least equally important. This is because it is not just third parties who should be un aware of the brief. Ideally, even users will forget that they are wearing an incontinence product during the course of the day. Our closure technologies, FlexHook® Lines and CombiTapes, ensure that this is precisely what happens – with customized closure solutions for in-continence briefs that increase users’ quality of life.

Incontinence solutions.

Back in 1996 we developed and introduced a

quality management system in accordance with

international standard DIN EN ISO 9001. Our

quality tests now take place in line with the latest

version of DIN EN ISO 9001. In addition, with DIN

EN ISO 14001 we have expanded our management

system to include the environmental component.

An energy effi ciency program (DIN EN ISO 50001)

is also a fi xed part of the manufacturing process at

Lohmann-koester: it ensures that we do not use more

energy or raw materials than strictly necessary, while

simultaneously keeping the emission of pollutants to

a minimum. This is another way for us to increase our

sustainability every day.

We like to base our closure solutions on role models from nature. Thisis just one reason why we are aware of our responsibility. This already begins with the choice of our partners. We collaborate with companies that manufacture their products in an environmentally-friendly wayand comply with the most stringent hygiene and safety standards. Inour production processes, we predominantly use solvent-free siliconized carrier materials and environmentally-sound adhesives. As we are aiming to make ongoing improvements with regards to environmental compa-tibility, we have recently begun the development of a demanding pilot project. It monitors the ecological balance of our production facility – for maximum sustainability in all respects. Ensuring that we can all continue to be inspired by nature for many years to come.
